Glad other people have had enough of him being shoved in everything as this "be all end all super soldier, get's all the attention" etc character.

Ever since the Bay films he's been pushed harder than Roman Reigns, it's even more pathetic here because he didn't even have a figure yet they still HAD to shove him in - especially when his role felt more like being a Hot Rod like character.

 

They need to fire Stevie from Malcolm in the middle from doing the voice direction.

 

7-8 months production time is pretty short when it comes to making animation. I wouldn’t be surprised if the writing and/or the animation was rushed in order to get the show out

I think people hoping for better voice acting in Kingdom are setting themselves up for some pretty massive disappointment. I'm keeping my hopes really low so that I don't just end up ripping the TV off the wall and using it to beat myself to death.

As someone who is (maybe sadly) pretty much defined by Transformers, and who spends most of their time playing with Transformers and checking Transformers news sites, this disconnect I feel from the fandom and Hasbro over this show that I honestly think is shit is pretty hard on me... I wish I could be excited for something new in the Transformers media realm, especially something "made for adults", I just wish they had gotten better writers/producers/voice actors to make it. What a waste.

And it's bizarre, since I feel like the toys are killing it right now, and I literally can't wait for Kingdom to hit shelves.

Maybe the pendulum will swing back my (our? some of us at least) way in the near future,
I just want to be truly excited by a Transformers show again.


Edit: Here's a comparison only a handful of people on these boards will understand, and I have outgrown Gundam, so I'm not really a fan of that at all anymore, but the way I felt watching SIEGE, was almost exactly how I felt watching "G-Saviour" back in the day. Same level of "this should have me excited, this is live action Gundam (CG, adult-oriented Transformers) but it's... just... so... bad..." Cringing at nearly every line, nearly falling asleep waiting for "Megatron" to finish a sentence... "characters" that are just lifeless shells, talking just for the sake of filling airtime...

 

It's not 'the' show... Its an animated web comic. Watch it on your phone. It's a really pretty good from that perspective.

Maybe after a few goes it'll turn into something a bit further reaching and fun. It just doesn't have the space to be the adventure that the old shows were. Nor the scale to match the movies. Again perhaps shouldn't be a surprise from rooster teeth - even if new corporate v2... BUT... really interested to see them stick with this... Perhaps do some character focus spin offs and have some more fun once the main 18 ep ark is done... We'll see

Galvatron is a separate character from Megatron.

Now lets hope for Optimus and Nemesis it's the same.

 

Voice Director wasn't Rooster Teeth's standard. It was the guy who did the voice direction for Prime Wars. That's why it's no surprise.

So. Galvy huh? This is framed like time travel but it would be kinda interesting if Galvatron is from a bad future where both he and Prime were transformed
