My Longhaul has a very odd wobble to his waist swivel, but the ratchet in there feels pretty solid. Thing else is pretty much beyond reproach.

 

Four down. The sheer volume when put together is going to be impressive. Solid plastic, good amount of die-cast, awesome paint detailing, no frustrating transformations. Just a set of good old toys.

 

Does anybody else think Long Haul makes perfect scale with the Studio Series Constructicons?

 

My plan is to include the OS Long Haul, Overload and Scavenger in with the standard size Rampage, Scrapper, High Tower and Scrapmetal.

 

Yeah, he's definitely still way too small for MPM scale.

I wish they'd upscaled these guys 2:1 instead of 1.64:1

 

So has anyone said anything on when the next batch of guys will be revealed? Is it too much to hope for them coming this year?

 

I plan on getting Long Haul and Scavenger/Demolishor (unless Hasbro plans on doing a Commander Class Demolishor in the future), to display them along with the rest of my SS collection, so the official ones remain in combined mode

 

Imagine if they upscaled rampage 2:1 and still added the tail parts

 

If you weren’t planning to combine them, a mix could look really good.

 

That would still work for me. I have him posed like it's a tail instead of a pogo stick so it curls up behind him. OS Scrapmetal is the same size as MPM Bumblebee so a 2:1 Rampage would be eye to eye with Bee in that pose which suits me.

and Scavenger should be huge next to all of them. But I really ain’t imagine how mixing the series works for combined mode.

Got my copy of MT-03 today! As expected, it has superb build quality and feels really good to hold and scales extremely well with my studio series collection! However there is one problem, the waist ratchet is not working. I am not getting this guy for Devastator mode anyway but it kinda bothers me nonetheless, can someone kindly show me how to expose the inner workings of the waist ratchet joint? I would appreciate it because this guy is a near perfect representation of Long Haul for me.

 

Well, I took the plunge and bought all 4. Here's to hoping the other 4 get made.
