I bought the standard release reissue due to having to sell my first release one for emergency expenses and I must say I actually like it better in alot of ways. Mostly in the joints as they are much better than before and zero QC issues which I had with the original release. Lol I know it's hard to ignore but my awesome wife bought me a crochet Tarn and it also came with a personalized note which I also put in my display, Slipstream is..well her favorite transformers character, that's why that's at the end of the note lol anyway now I'm rambling, just wanted to say it's a good reissue!
I cancelled my order for this. I can't spend that much and have issues. It's unfortunate because I was looking forward to it
I ordered the original release version and it has sturdy joints and working lights with red eyes and and no paint chipping so maybe that really would be a better option for you.
I’m looking for the Tarn bonus parts, especially the speakers. If you or anyone you know is willing to part with it, please PM. Many thanks .
Hey everyone! If you ever encountered hip joint looseness, then I have an easy fix for you that doesn't involve glue! For the hips: there is a small screw right under the hip region between the legs, you screw that tighter and the hip joints will tighten as well. I hope this reaches someone who needs it!
Has anyone figured out how to pull the top part of Tarn apart to reach the electronics? The eyes in mine have stopped working and I’d like to try to fix it.
Sadly I don’t have an answer for your question but have you checked that the contacts of the batteries are still conduct power? I had a couple of instances where I had to scrap the contacts with a scalpel to get the lights to work. Those were on new toys so the contacts could have had a layer of super glue dust from assembly on them, preventing the transmission of electricity.
Yes thanks I have given them a clean. But it’s definitely a wiring problem because the lights on his chest work fine, it’s just his eyes that don’t work but when you move his chest around the eyes flicker and occasionally light up.
