Home and power is back. Main fuse went. All sorted now.

 

That's a bit of an odd one, by that I mean if you had told me exactly one year ago that not only I would buy and play AC but also that I would insanely adore it... Not that I wouldn't have believed you, but I would have defintily be surprised.
All that to say that even if I'm not to sure about how to recommend it, I'm definitly sure I can recommend it.
Whatever the case, congrats on the christmas gift ! You'll love it.

 

Despite internet dying halfway through (it came back) that was a massively enjoyable episode.

 

I posted a couple of bits tonight. Went in and asked to send Royal Mail 48 and the guy behind the desk openly laughed in my face ha !

From what he was saying, anything sent RM48 at the minute is just getting shelved until there's not a backlog of first class stuff and it goes when it goes. Advised me that if I want it there within 2-3 days to go RM24, otherwise RM48 is taking about a fortnight.

Nevertheless I sent them RM24 signed for to be sure  

 

The arseholes got a special deal on clear plastic, didn't they?

As PvP says, both of the other versions hide the transformation kibble! Why do they keep fucking up the cars this year?  



@John Burrows Think it depends where you are and it's a lottery because after a Royal Fail screw-up*, I sent a parcel RM48 on Wednesday and it arrived today. That's not bad for starting out in NI!

* Fail let me buy and print an RM48 label that neither a garage or even the PO would accept, despite Fail's on-screen guidance when buying. Had to go to a sorting office!

Their website refuses to accept passwords, changes all the bloody time and has multiple different pages for the exact same service! Funnily enough, it used to work before Team Hair-do sold it to their friends.

I'd point out the individual staff are amazing IME, it's management who need the boot.

 

I guess the best way to describe it might be to say I'm not what would be called a completionist collector? I'm very selective with what I buy and don't set out to collect entire lines etc. The Marvel Legends figs I've bought are characters I particularly like - Kamala Khan Ms. Marvel, Spider-Gwen, Silk. I apply much the same to Transformers, it has to either be a fig I have a personal attachment too and/or a figure I think looks cool or fun.
I also don't actually know who this new wave of Marvel Legends are either

I think I might know where you're coming from, and before watching I would have agreed. No spoilers but I didn't want a certain Big Name to be in this series and "overshadow" the main cast. I wanted it to be its own thing too.

But having seen the episode I'm surprised and delighted to have had my mind changed, I loved it. The day has been redeemed.

Only downside - it was too short. At barely over 30 mins we are being short-changed.

More of this sort of thing.

 

Pretty much my exact thoughts. This was a brilliant episode, but too f'in short! It was just getting good, dammit!

Also, it is nice to see one of the most overrated characters in the whole series actually do something badass for a change and earn their reputation  

 

Fair enough, depends on the line for me. Generally I'll buy everything from a classic property, but there's limits like total side characters with boring designs, or say Thundercats, where I wouldn't be buying half the baddies but likely all the prevalent good guys.

The new Legends are Modok, Silver Surfer, House of X peeps, a muted red Deadpool from the sequel and whatever I've forgotten! Oh, there's an old skool Jean Grey in there, just in case!
