There is, because I've just looked. TransformerLand has both Eject and Rewind.

Are you searching by name? Ramhorn, Steeljaw etc...? Or are you just searching for Blaster cassettes or something more vague? The more specific the better with ebay. Good luck.

There's gotta be a replacement waist you can 3D print out there somewhere. If not, I could probably make a model of one if I get the right measurements.

I'm sure there is, but at his point it's probably just about still cheaper to find a junker that isn't broke and swap out parts than to 3D print.

Of course that doesn't prevent future breakages. Figures like Electro or G2 Slingshot wouldn't be so easily fixed sadly.

Sorry to creep on a mega old thread post, but I'm brand new to collecting after my midlife crisis took the form of little plastic robots. I'd just learned about TF Expo. Is it pretty rad? I was thinking about taking off in July (pending access to a vaccine) to attend the Friday date sans kiddo.

I thought it was great. I found great deals on TF's. I also got some killer deals on other toy lines from the 80's. And it being so close made it even better. I live just outside of Kansas City on the Kansas side.

Nice, when I was a kid we left KCMO for JOCO, and as soon as I got out of the Navy I went rushing back to Brookside only to find my old neighborhood was gentrified AF. So, long story short, I ended up in Waldo limits by a whole one block (worth it). Covid got me hooked on my childhood favorite toys though, and I'm looking for anyway to do something TF related that isn't buying figures online. I'll definitely check it out if you think it's worth it. Awesome to talk to someone else from KCMO. The few folks I've talked to that are local around here have all been super cool.

If you’re new to collecting, I’m guessing you’re mainly wondering if a TF con is worth going to.

I would answer a resounding YES. I’ve been going to TFs cons since Botcon ‘99. And honestly, I find smaller cons like TF Expo more enjoyable. Big ones, like Botcon was at the end, are just too expensive and overwhelming. The smaller ones are a lot more personal.

I still say the most fun I ever had at a con was Charticon 2013, which only lasted a year. Met a bunch of people from this board, bought a bunch of swag from the dealer room, got MP Soundwave at the charity auction, and shot the shit with Paul Eiding and Hal Rayle at the patio party. It was like G1 heaven.

Anyway, I say at least try it once. If you don’t like the experience, you don’t need to go again.

Love this book. It's the backdrop for my '86 movie MP collection shelf.

Awesome, I was wondering if it was worth the experience of attending. With a young child traveling out of state is out of the question for me, even if we do see a vaccine in time for the Cons, and I was wondering if the KC TF Con is worth experiencing or not. That's enough of an endorsement for me that I feel like I should try it, at least the once.

    I always liked Snarl.
I’ve never experienced the toy though. Plan to hold it in my hand one day.

Same here. In fact I've never actually owned or even held an actual G1 Dinobots in my hand. My parents bought me a KO (a nose-horned, dark grey Grimlock) way back in the day that substituted.
