the more I handle Runamuk and Runabout the more I like them. only tough choice is whether to keep in bot or alt mode. Oh wait 1 of each!!!

If anyone is on the fence about them I highly recommend them both.

Been waiting to switch out the parts I dyed from the Siege version. Looks pretty good.

 

You dyed them? Or painted them?

 

Dyed. I didn't want to worry about paint scraping off.

I've been meaning to ask someone who has both, does the robot arm thing from Siege Ratchet still attach to the back of the ER one so the scanner thingy goes over his shoulder? I'm assuming yes but without having handled any version of this mold yet I wouldn't know. Not that it'll matter to me if Amazon never ships my ER Ratchet set...

Edit: Never mind, just got to another post another page back showing it can indeed be done.

Okay I gotta do that, because Ratchet as he is right now just doesn't look right. That, on the other hand, looks friggin' awesome.

I didn't feel so strongly about the Seige version, because there were far more red highlights on its body. But the Paradron version is just too damn boring. Those red fists and waist section really do a lot to break up the color layout.

Just a heads up-- some of the white plastic used for ER Ratchet doesn't absorb dyes. I just tested it and only the hips, back, and tires worked.

So don't try to dye ER Ratchet parts.

 

Not sure if this Statue of Liberty is a custom job or not but I would LOVE to see Earthrise Runamuck and Runabout next to it.
