I was playing Golden Axe 3 last week :)

    ---

Well the one day I don't check Smyths several times a day is naturally the day the stock is place on their website - resulting in me getting a WFCT Wheeljack and just a Wheeljack... Oh well maybe there is a teeny chance they will put more up in the next few days.

Ironically one of the things I was doing while not checking was playing with Bug Byte and Arcee & my Black Roritchi that just arrived. Most vexing when I was also asleep at the wheel when Runabout came in elsewhere too and missed him as well just like a flubbed up buying Greenlight many moons ago too. Oh well I am thankful that I got a Centurion set at least some time back as those proved hard to get in the long term too (and I would likely have bought another set if they were more common).

I notice Comics and Cocktails have G2 Megatron in stock if anyone wants one. I unfortunately ordered mine along side Tigertrack so I'll have to wait a while longer for mine I suppose. Maybe I'll go indulge my retail therapy need and see if I can find a cheap POTP Rodimus Prime.

Ahh, I’m guessing this was probably discussed on here a few days ago and I’m just playing catch up, sorry guys! :stick:

Yeah my Ratchet/Lifeline order is supposedly going to be here by the 14th, considering all the distribution issues we’ve had this year it’s a miracle I’ve got as much as I have. The only one I haven’t got a preorder locked down for is Thrust, and I’m praying he’s easier to pick up once he’s released at Target!

So I’ve just started watching Transformers Prime as season 1 is on Netflix. After a poor start I’ve finally got to the point where Wheeljack, Knock-Out, Breakdown and Airachnid have all had a spotlight episode. So far I’m enjoying what I’ve seen and the best part is I’m sneaking the episodes in at the end of a film so my wife gets to watch them with me.
Tonight after watching Predatory she asked why there were female transformers which is a long discussion for another night.

Smyths stock of Bumblebee and Elita seem to have been blink and you miss it. Hopefully some will actually appear in store somewhere on the south coast. Preferably in either of the stores near to me.

No no, you couldn't keep up with that shitshow, Amazon have gone full Lost and are just making it up as they go along!

Same here with Thrust (or Thrush as I call him, the nonsense around him would make ya itchy!).

I've never played an Animal Crossing game. But myself and the wife our getting ourselves a Switch for Christmas, and I reckon that'll be top of the 'to buy' list.

Weclome! Impactor is a good figure, you'll love him.

I'm a sucker for a good double cannon myself.

Keep your mind in the gutter Paul, it does it's best work there ;)

That looks great. Glad it made your day less shite!

The pose I want to see is the chief flipping the thing over one-handed, crushing the marine accidently in the process. As has been the fate of too many NPCs to count.

Warner Bros to launch its 2021 movies simultaneously on HBO Max and in cinemas

So we're mostly weapons grade geeks here, right? Has anybody actually missed going to the cinema?

I ask because I'm wondering if the world's population was vaccinated tomorrow would people even go back?

And the money WB are gonna lose (almost every movie is financed with a studio loan accruing millions every month in interest since, oooh, March)... If they didn't have a large parent company and the gaming department I'd say the IPs would be for sale right now. So will studios even risk blockbusters? Might be better making a movie then splitting it up for TV.

Absolutely. I love the cinema - if time and money were no object I'd be at it every night.

A mate of mine bought a flat on the Dublin Road in Belfast so he could saunter across the street to the Movie House cinema anytime he liked. He moved out and started renting the place about a month before they closed the place.

Just had an email from Amazon saying my Pit of Judgement will be with me today! Now I hope they pull through with Skywarp/Thundercracker and the US will pull though with the Med set.

    Ooof.

I was a regular cinema patron, to the point of having a year long list of potential viewings that basically went up in flames in March. But I honestly don't miss it for so many reasons.

Too many films are 'just ok' for the (now serious) cost and effort to go see them. It means for me anyway I can't even justify a thriller on cheap Tuesday because it'll be streaming in no time, and they don't benefit from the big screen.

A Marvel movie was guaranteed to get me in but I just don't miss them. So many are clunky and that's being kind.

It's just... I dunno, I think the pandemic massively advanced existing trends. So I'm wondering if that makes cinema even more of an occasional novelty now?
    ...

    Ha, free shipping...

Meanwhile, ScareGlow works so well this is him in the packaging:

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but Smyths is taking orders for Bumblebee for home delivery. Just nabbed one at 04:15 in the morning (the only advantage I’ve ever found for working night shift!).

I would prefer to pick one up in person, but as I’m sure that Bumblebee will be popular, and probably under supplied, thought I’d make sure I get one by ordering it.

And that is probably Earthrise done for me

    I got him!

I can't believe my insomnia and looking up 13-year-old Transformer UK sightings (God bless Armada, Energon, Cybertron, Beast Wars 10th, Classics 06, Movie 07 and your £4.99/£9.99 deluxes with 3 for 2 offers) is how I score Bumblebee.

Quick question. I was under the impression that Smyths would stock Earthrise Runabout just like the Netflix exclusives. Since that doesn't seem to be the case, what's my best option for obtaining him?

I love certain films in the cinema... I will see Dune at the cinema if I can... the immersion will be amazing!
