Maybe the Walgreen employees are running an international smuggling organization

5x Soundwave at Monaca Walmart, but I walked away with the last one. They were there all afternoon (called ahead) and only one was left by the time I got there. All Optimii remain.

 

Sorry if this is the wrong thread for this, but did anyone else get a notice from Amazon their Ratchet/Paradron medic preorder was cancelled for lack of stock?

I’m pretty pissed, because I was a relatively first preorder without Amazon Prime and then got Amazon Prime a week later so I cancelled my preorder and reordered it with Prime to get it sooner. If anyone knows or has an educated guess, is it likely that they’ll get more or should I just accept I’ll have to go the scalper route?

To stay thread on point, grabbed a Netflix Prime and Soundwave from the Bedford Walmart. They were on the top shelf. None left.

 

Mine was cancelled too so I get to pay scalper prices joy. Nothing at all Netflix wise Harrisburg Walmart

 

Target website claimed Wilkes Barre Target had Runabout since last night. Nothing on Shelf at 3 pm today but an employee checked and brought 1 out. He didn’t bring any extra and the website still claims Runabout is still in stock. Good luck local TF fans

I got a shipment notice for Ratchet.

I just got an email from Walmart saying the Netflix Soundwave, which I PREordered, is on BACKorder. Not sure how that works. Somebody is confused about how preorders work. I don't think it's me. I'm pretty good with my prefixes and suffixes.

 

I got the same last week.
I was hoping that the preorders would go out before stores started getting them in since I figured they'd ship from the warehouses before they went to the store distribution centers, but I guess no dice. At least it's not canceled... right?

 

Damn Exeter Walmart, getting my hopes up. As I start walking down the TF aisle, I see a shelf full of Netflix Voyagers. As I get closer to them.....

 

I try to avoid preorders at this point. They’ve become a bit of a joke. Preorders used to provide a sense of certainty and security. Now they’re a 50/50 you may get them at all and most certainly only after they hit mass retail. About the only service a preorder provides is to let retailers know how much interest there is in the item/toy line.

I’m not in retail, but it seems the stores haven’t figured out how to properly deal with online distribution versus store distribution and demand generally.

I tried preordering the Spinister wave of Siege figures from Walmart last year and they were back ordered for over six months. I found them in store and let the preorder bs go on until I cancelled it after six months. I’ve heard they haven’t got any better either with TFs or anything else.

I tried Target, but they backordered the entire last wave of Studio Series figures and then cancelled them when they were readily available in stores.

 

Monaca Walmart had 6 netflix optimus and 1 soundwave this evening. One of each left with me, but that still means they put out more since yesterday.

This is the 3rd pre-order I had cancelled by Amazon. Same thing happened with the Earthrise Seekers, Earthrise ironhide/prowl and now Ratchet/Lifeline.

 

From what I've personally gathered, you basically need to be pre-ordered in the first few minutes to first hour. Anything beyond that is pretty much up in the air. Shouldn't be, it's awful, but I'm guessing that's what's going on.

I'd imagine that period is the bulk of numbers that make up the order Amazon sends to Hasbro.

 

Order it online if it's still up. Thats how I'm getting it.

Hi guys, I'm usually a MD poster but had the day off and drove up to Gettysburg. Found netflix soundwave and Optimus at Walmart. There was one set left as of 11:00 a.m..
