Just got a shipping notice on Vertabreak.

 

Cut me real deep to get that cancellation notice from Amazon and then to have ToysRUs rip the bandage off like a bratty seven year old on a playground.

 

It's saying that I should have my Medic 2-pack delivered by 10pm tonight, but I'm not expecting it to since it's showing that it hasn't even shipped. In terms of the Autobot Alliance 2-pack, I'm hoping Amazon gets a re-stock of them since I missed out on pre-ordering it.

 

So my medic order went from arriving by 10 PM tonight to "it's going to be a day or two late". Tracking shows it arrived to the Amazon facility nearest to me, just on a delay. I'll wait it out. But I ordered mine on day 1, August 27th.

I have a feeling that because of the fact that everyone is ordering online, it's causing havoc with shipping. I have a box from BBTS that went Fedex, and it originally was supposed to be here Tuesday. It's not Tuesday anymore. And Fedex's tracking is like:

My medic pack just got its shipping updated to December 20th. As long as it gets to me in the end, idc when it comes in. Mine was pre-ordered on Nov 15th if anyone wants to see if the date of pre-order determines who will get it sooner.

 

Yeah, saw it earlier as well. I was like WTF?

I ordered mine September 27 and received the cancel notice this afternoon.

 

My Medics were also delayed til the 20th. Not cancelled. Praying that means good news for me. Also ordered mine on 11/15, for reference.

 

Am I the only one having the issue of the preorder option taking me directly to checkout and me having to back out to get the preorder items to be added to my cart? I thought it might be Ublock Origin, but I disabled it and it still happens...

 

Damn. Received my medics today. My buddy though was not so lucky. They cancelled his medics AND his delayed Ironhide/Prowl pack. Unbelievable how many orders are getting outright cancelled.
I really wouldn't mind most exclusives if there were at least enough to go around and feel awful for those who are getting cancelled. If any Hasbro guy is scouting this thread: up those production numbers!!

I feel that COVID-19 is pretty much limiting how much they can produce right now, so unlikely that those numbers would bump up even if they wanted to.

 

adding to the nightmare of covid, delays, and cancelled orders. today in houston an Amazon van loaded with packages was stolen in broad daylight, not too far from where i live. another recent incident nearby, an Amazon driver was robbed for packages at gunpoint with an assault rifle pointed at their face, suspect out on bond still at-large. also porch theft on the rise. yall please be careful and take caution with delivery instructions. realize that there are people out there looking steal what we have purchased.

 

Come join the target & Walmart threads where there is also weeping and nashing of teeth in regard to pretty much any exclusive preorder this year.

I do hold out some hope of reissues for a few of these, if only because redwing was also reissued from a target exclusive to a Entertainment Earth Exclusive.
