Walmart Netflix War For Cybertron Voyager Soundwave

 

Got an email alert for Soundwave and for an order in. Then 15 minutes later I got a cancellation email and now the page for him on Walmart.com is gone.

 

Just got an email saying that bumblebee should be arriving Dec. 15, and the order page also says that date rather than 'delayed check back later'.

Hopefully that's a good sign.

 

Well that was fun while it lasted and mine just Canceled, sigh, The complete and utter shit show that is walmarts pre-ordering system continues.

 

Glad I placed backup orders at ChosenPrime for the imports of Prime and Soundwave, least I know they'll come through if I don't find them in stores first

 

The fun part about living in Canada is that I don't even get a chance to deal with Walmart's shitshow of a pre-order system and get to go straight to paying double for these exclusives from eBay.

 

My Netflix Bee was delayed and site still shows "check back later for status update"

I ordered on July 17 which I am 99.9% positive was the day the link went live.

 

My Bumblebee was cancelled yesterday and I ordered July 17... I have a feeling I am probably going to miss these. I feel distribution will be the worst we've ever seen.

 

Mine is still showing preparing order. Took a flyer on the voyagers, elita, and bee. Wanted to get 2 of bee and elita, but looking at the folks on the board struggling to get one, I figured I'd stick with one each and give the other guys a chance. If I see them at retail after January, though, all bets are off! I need to customize a nautica and a bumper!

 

My elita 1 and bumblebee preorder got cancelled, ended up buying them ebay for twice the price.

 

Seen the earlier pre orders back in July are getting canceled for one reason or another

 

I'm just going to wait til they start appearing in the local stores. by the time I get to any of the alerts, they are already sold out of preorder

 

looks like my ratchet/lifeline might be preparing to ship... it's not giving me the option to cancel now

 

got an email this afternoon while i was at work that the Soundwave battle 3 pack was in stock. when i went to the site, got this: "Oops! This item is unavailable or on backorder."

 

I'm really counting on these preorders. Netflix wave 1 was easy but they are shelf-warming hard here. I never saw the 35th exclusives and was lucky to get Bluestreak from a preorder and later Megatron on sale (wasn't paying full price for something I was going to remove the cell shading from). My Soundwave preorder shows the 15th and others just delay. With how crappy Walmart is handling this I really wish I went with Amazon Japan when I had the chance.

 

Paying scalper prices will only encourage scalpers to keep buying in bulk, leading to more regular orders getting cancelled. So don't complain if you're just going to feed the beast.

 

I feel like at this point, the people who honestly can’t wait a few weeks for their stuff during a pandemic are paying the salaries of majority of the scalpers.

 

My Soundwave is backordered now from the last 3 emails saying that there's a delay in filling my order. So now being backordered i can pay for other stuff alittle more easily now. Though its a good thing i think then again it could go south and lose it which i hope i get it cause i want it bad. Lets just wait and see but i hope i can get it without anymore issues but January would be cool if you ask me for when they charge me for Soundwave Netflix edition.

 

Ordered a Soundwave from overseas and it arrived yesterday.
Was a good feeling to go to Walmart's website and symbolically tell them to "take your shit and shove it" (cancel my preorder).
Any time I can avoid supporting Walmart, I consider it a win.


Also it was nice to see that the colors on Siege Soundwave and Earthrise Soundwave are pretty much identical.
Swapped out the arms at the bicep swivel, to give him the red stripes on his forearms, and gave him the Siege weapons, so they have the red stripes too. Love it!

 

Not that I consider it to mean anything, but my Soundwave order has changed to "Arrives by Tue, Dec 15"
