    Unless someone’s already posted it...
Is this our first look at them besides still images? I can’t remember. Don’t want either of them myself.

The concept sounds like a neat, and it's cute that it's inspired by Warden's wean BUT, yeah, the execution is looking a bit like giant robots desecrating precious historical finds for a terrible fashion trend, like that one webcomic I now can't find, and seems to be diminishing returns after the peak of Paleotrex's Primal Mace and funky Soul Calibur bone axe.
I think they've gone too melee, and maybe should have thought about sticking the odd bone missile or deploying gun barrels for some straight up Targetmaster-ish component action in there.
Plus poor Ractonite has no fists so he must poke with pegs!

I still quite like the the look of Paleotrex, but he's not a priority. I like the Dino mode of ractonite but that bot mode is awful.

I get the feeling both will be discounted heavily, in which case I'll gladly buy a few. I think there's going to be a lot of fun to be had creating bony monsters.

That Core Starscream is great, but it really needs a Pretender shell. Same with Megs and Ptime tbh. But that Starscream especially screams Pretender version!

Hmn, on closer inspection it may be that Ractonite's dino skull maybe IS supposed to be a cannon?

But it's a pretty damned half-assed one considering it has neither a port or peg for a nice effect part attachment to properly sell it! (Apologies for the massive image but smaller sizes you can barely see into that teragob!)
Plus two gimpy spiked legs attached to one's back seem don't seem particularly practical as either arms or armour?
A real Friday afternoon early finish vibe for me.

Also I have inoculated myself against Core class mission creep having seen Megs' tank mode...

    IT's TOO CUTE! (^.^)
It's the kind of tank that looks like it needs a hug! A very G1 Minibot vibe but too cute for Megs IMO.

I'm actually quite taken by Huffer. To me, he's always been one of those background fellas that I've never paid much attention to.

But here, he looks positively heroic. And can we talk about The Coolest Gun for a Mainline Transformer Ever? It's like the Aliens Pulse rifle and halo assault rifle rolled into one

HOLY SHIT! It is LITERALLY a Halo Spartan Laser with a little more junk on the underside :lol

The barrel and the little circular detail on the back are dead giveaways!

My god, you're right! Amazing. Halo 3 Spartan Laser was incredible, shame they nerfed it in halo 4.

Also, it's with deep regret that I must correct myself. It looks fuck-all like the Aliens Pulse rifle. The shame.

it's this kind of bones-for-armour, skull-for-gun insanity that makes me really want these weaponiser fossilizers

Yes, Huffer and Inferno can consider themselves well and truly bought.

One more design board pass might've had me, I don't think the idea is bad the execution just landed short of my personal sweet spot.

No, they’re terrible. I’ll get the deluxes but they’re staying as skellingtons or bits to hit people with.

Hnnnnngh. My local Smyths doesn’t seem to be stocking Megs anymore and he’s the only one left from wave one I want.

I have this set on preorder but I have to admit that I don’t like this P/CP as much as the previous one, dagnabbit!!

So, latest reveals....Inferno’s bits are going to need white paint, or possibly chrome, Huffer’s legs look totally different to the way they appeared in the in package shots and Ractonite’s robot mode is absolutely hideous.

Still hoping T’Ark isn’t specifically scaled for Core Class figures because I have absolutely no interest in them. Sure, they look better than previous official legends class stuff but they’re still not great...

What were the problems with IF Heat Death? I love Cryotek and plans to get Absolute Zero, but I have heard some ugly things about that mold that kinda makes me hesitate on AZ

Exactly how my Huffer will never be used. I get that seven year old me might have been the intended market for this, but at this point this looks so goofy I'm wondering is this really just the way the Hasbro TF team convinces senior management that "look, he can use DinoHead as a shield, isn't that cool!" this is still a product aimed at kids. And then senior management fucks off and leaves them alone for another quarter.

And they can get on with making Double Dealer etc.

If you wanted to mix Skeleton Warriors with TF it might have been less jarring if you'd done it with Cyberverse or whatever else IS actually for kids right now. Because even using the fig leaf of Beast Wars it is going to turn off a pretty large segment of where your income for WFC is actually coming from.

    Here's a hint: Kids aren't buying £45 Leaders.
