Honestly if DOTM Soundwave was given G1 colours and kept something similar to the ROFT head I would honestly really like his design.

Instead we got a Soundwave who could quite literally be any other generic Decepticon.

I think this is the first time on this site I have seen someone say they don't like the RID Optimus design.

 

Best Laserbeak: Literally every other Laserbeak that isn't Bayverse
Meh Laserbeak: Prime/RiD
Worst: Bayverse (his wings and his variety of alt modes are the only cool things about him)

 

It just doesn't do it for me it reminds me of proto form Optimus from the bay comic's just with a rich color scheme which puts me off it.

 

I personally think that bayverse laserbeak was better than the prime version, because he was actually a character and not a mindless drone unlike the prime version.

 

I concur with that 100%, if Bayverse Laserbeak didn't have a rather ugly design he'd probably be my favorite incarnation

 

Movie Bumblebee isn't recognizable at all. That's one of the main reasons I hate that design.

Transformers Prime Bumblebee doesn't even have a nose let alone one that lights up. No Transformer in history has ever had a nose that lights up so I have no idea what the hell you're talking about. Transformers Prime is known for none of the characters ever having noses.

Why are you pointing out design features that don't exist?

TFP Shockwave turns into a Cybertronian Tank... and how is Onyx Prime the worst Shockwave design when that's not even a Shockwave. Onyx Prime is a totally different Transformer that has nothing to do with Shockwave.

Be honest... were you drunk or taking drugs when you wrote this?

 

How is the movie design not recognizable? I can ask anyone I know who isn't a Transformers fan what character it is and they'll say Bumblebee. It's what happens when that's the face of the character for 10+ years of movies.

So far Onyx Prime's most significant and memorable role is the fact he was Shockwave.
Also the point of him not transforming was the last point under the Onyx section. No idea why you decided to change it around.

 

I... Kinda don't either. I don't like the contrast between the blocky sections and the puffy sections. Pick a lane Prime.
