It depends on if its still profitable. Given how badly the current toys seem to be doing, its probably not. (It doesn't help that the toys aren't even appealing as generic toy robots.. they look cheap for the most part.)
I only watch the Sentai versions since I can't stand Disney, but I'm very excited to start watching how they handle Jungle Fury since GekiRanger was the most enjoyable Sentai series that I have ever seen. My guess is that the Elephant,Shark, & Bat Rangers will replace the animal masters from GekiRanger since I don't see there being more than one animal Master and that's the cat
I'd be surprised if these new rangers weren't in the series. If they were just one-off figures in the basic figure assortment, I'd probably write them off, but the fact that there are multiple versions of these guys makes me wonder. (If this has happened in the PR toyline before, please correct me, I don't really follow the toys that closely) I'm pretty anxious for Jungle Fury to start though, mainly because there's not a lot going on with television right now.
I am thinking the new megazords look cool. I had high hopes for the new mini zord sets(A B and C) crosscombining like the Operation Overdrive ones. Does look to be the case, unless someone can correct me....I MAY pick up a set of the deluxe zords.
The zords may be simpler this year than say last years OO zords, but I think they're one of the nicest zords out there. Great durability/playability and maybe because I'm partial to animal zords more than vehicles, but It's definitely one of the best looking ones. GekiFire FTW!
so the newest PR is called Power Rangers: Jungle Fury... here's the cast (Actor - Character - Ranger): * Aljin Abella - Theo Martin - Jungle Fury Blue Ranger * David de Lautour - RJ - Violet Wolf Ranger * Anna Hutchison - Lily Chilman - Jungle Fury Yellow Ranger * Jason Smith - Casey - Jungle Fury Red Ranger
My Mom says Sesame Street has been on longer than Power Rangers, thus making it the official "Longest Running Children's Program On Television".
Boys. Lots and lots of boys. Besides, there's one thing you're forgetting. "The longest running kid program, with new episodes for consecutive years, without a "year/two year break", keeping the same traditional name" Pay close attention to the "without a year/two year break" part. Sesame Street has taken breaks in the past.
But Mr Rogers passed away so I would doubt new episodes are being made(but at my age of 22, theres not a chance in hell I would watch to confirm or deny my theory)
so he did have breaks in there himself. But just to get back on Topic, IF PR doesn't go animated next year, here's what we'll be getting
I like the Jungle Pride Megazord , it was worth it for me since I like the beast type zords mostly. The animal based costumes are good to see coming back into the picture also. Makes me wish I would have picked up some over the years instead of trying to random the the zords I like now. I've been watching the Dino Thunder for a few months now and it renewed my like of PR. Now just to find a Brachiozord for around $50 is tough. D
For no other reason than for this to not be on the air, I hope that it goes animated. This stuff is awful. Looks like the old 70's sentai is back.
I like these a lot more than the Jungle Fury costumes. They aren't classics, but at least they have proper boots.
