My custom siege skywarp

 

Was debating Sixgun for awhile, but he was onsale so why not? When Kingdom Slammer is officially announced, might swap out the Six Sigma version due to lack of space....

I'm trying to explain that I'm a person who wishes to live a very quiet life. I take care not to trouble myself with any enemies, like winning and losing, that would cause me to lose sleep at night. That is how I deal with society, and I know that is what brings me happiness. Although, if I were to fight I wouldn't lose to anyone. "

Curious, was the WFC for both Siege/ER line did it have the most exclusives out of any line out there? To me it seems like it...I don't ever recall PTOP or CW ever having exclusives such as the WFC line...

Okay, real thoughts: I liked the Siege Soundwave robot mode, and I liked the feel of transforming him. The way the feet slid in, the way the arms clicked in back, all really satisfying in ways I can't quantify or describe usefully. But when I transformed him I had, uh. Like. This thing? I guess? Supposed to be a ship? A rectangular ship? Thing?

So anyway, I had steadily lessening affection for it. This version got announced, I got a preorder in, I also had the Soundblaster version of the Siege mold, so I sold the Soundwave one. Then my preorder got screwed up, ha ha whoops. But I found him in a store today. And man, he fixes all my issues, the robot mode is as good, the transformation as satisfying, and look he still changes into a rectangle, but a rectangle that is recognizable as a thing and I'm not supposed to accept that rectangular thing as somehow aerodynamic.

I generally like the yellow visor better, but there's no denying the light piping on this version is striking. And I'm slowly learning to accept that there's probably not a Buzzsaw coming, which is really all I need to consider this guy perfect.

Stupid question but could he still transform in to that flying rectangle?

 

The arms aren’t hinged right. If you watch the video reviews you can see it’s not going to work.

Still my Megs.

 

Mine too. ER Megs is good, but not different enough for me to justify buying him when I have Siege Megs. Also, Siege's face is better and I like the sword more than I do the spear-thingy.

 

Yeah, I still love Siege Megatron. I don't even mind the dual-sided fusion cannon because that opposite side makes it blend into the tank turret, if you're using the sword as the tank barrel. Plus, I'd rather a sword than the front of the turret and a useless plank (which really should have been attached to the legs with hinges).

As for the head, it's weird: I don't think ER Megatron's head is any more worse, it's just I think it looks better attached to G2 colors (though the helmet's the wrong shape for that).
