Yeah--sad that a lot of us with the toon release have that loose hinge, where others got the fixed version. It's not the worst thing since the 'actual' elbow joint is tight enough, but still. It's a near-$60 figure. I ALMOST want to see if I can get replacement arms just because I know they've fixed it, but I don't know if it's really worth the trouble.

 

In my experience, all of the tolerances on later releases of a mold only improve with NewAge. My Prowl has some slightly loose joints, but every subsequent release of that mold afterwards is tighter and more solid. Same goes for my four Megatrons, and my eight Seekers.

Ah thanks for noticing buddy, I always used to have this pic as my avatar in the old days of the internet. And now I've stopped using that Boschian kiwi monster signature in my photos I fancied going back to my roots! 

 

I have the toy version and it does comes with bonus sonic arm and led cassette...

 

Yeah both my toon and toy versions came with them but none of the others did.

 

Why did you quote this...this was from pages ago before these even released. If you read the past 10 or so pages you’d see which versions come with what.

 

Not remotely worth the trouble - a drop of clear nail polish will tighten it up just fine.

 

I make those adjustments all the time. But I have to wonder how long before it wears down considering it's plastic on metal.
