So Thrust is delayed then. Good to know. All I knew was that out of all the Targets I looked at on tracking sites, none had any inventory for Thrust. I managed to get a Runabout this morning (and they are playing the hide the Mandalorian/Child pack in the back game as I've already seen the tracker drop by 1 unit but they swear they can't find them and you can't order them online).

What's the cutoff on Takara Tomy mall pre-orders for Thrust?

 

It's gonna be impossible to get thrust offline. I'm seriously sick of exclusives...

I'm sorry I don't wanna sound annoying but I just been watching a lot of shit about scalpers and it's been reading my anxiety.

 

Targets stock was likely delayed. No one has received or found Thrust yet. He's likely not in the Country yet, or at least in Transit to Targets distribution center

 

It would be a fricking stellar customer service move if they, at the very least, allowed us to preorder their exclusives. What retailer doesn't want to both presell a product while also making customers happy???

 

Current ETA on Thrust is from the 3rd-15th of Dec. les sigh.

I was very lucky to secure a Runabout and Thrust through one of the main big sellers here. He ordered 400+ to fulfill his orders alone, but was only allotted 26 boxes! Luckily, I got my order in at #18 and it’s on the way to my local 7-11 now.
Hechuan/Daming is the biggest distributor for Taiwan. They received the most units, but can make more by selling overseas, so only kept a handful for Taiwan — like 10 or so.
Many people are scrambling for expensive ones online from wherever they can find it.

I’m afraid exclusives are putting a big crimp in the enjoyment of this hobby for many people. On chat groups here, there is a lot of worry that it’ll be the same, or worse with Kingdom.

 

Yes, they should pull an Amazon and let people place orders without the inventory to fulfil them.

 

Verily! And that's from you living in Taiwan getting lucky securing one! Congrats!   Mine,? I have to wait til April (TakaraTomyMall stock (d@mn RKs sheeeeeeeeety search engine))I got a nasty feeling all these "exclusives" are Hb and especially Takara's fail safe to keep inventory down. And yup, I'm avoiding Kingdoms Beasties like a plague (need to focus on one line, the G1 line for budgetary reasons). 

Speaking from sad experience! I know the feeling!

I'm glad you liked them! Took me forever to get the blaster to print in a batch without making a stringy mess! Design work is probably only 10% of the time spent for one of these kits, the other 90% is tolerances and getting them to print in a batch consistently, and those blasters did NOT want to play nice with more than one of them on the build plate.
