I'm ok with my Legends versions. Not a huge difference to double dip. Love the blue better on LG Brainstorm.

Hardhead and Mindwipe are significant improvements over their Titans Return and Legends versions. The others? Takara Legends still wins out.

What style/coloring are these going for?

    G1 Cartoon?
    G1 Toy?
    Mixture?

It seems like a mixture but figured I’d ask in case I’m missing something. My understanding was TR was G1 toy style and LG was G1 cartoon style (not sure is US cartoon or Japan cartoon were different).

Thanks in advance for guidance. :)  These look really nice either way and I’m glad we are getting them for those who missed out a few years back.

Hardhead looks awesome. I wanted him to look like that when I did not buy him. Where can I get these? I just googled and couldn't find anything. Other than a sold out case of 4, but I want only Hardhead.

My best educated guess is they are going for a mixture, which may or may not take some queue's from their appearance in the G1 Marvel comic books.

I'd only be interested in that retro Mindwipe if Hasbro replaced the excessive amount of rubber with hard plastic. What do you think the odds are?

No likely, since I do not know of any Transformers figure that originally had rubbery plastic parts replaced with solid plastic parts.

With the SS86 figures coming out soon, these Headmaster figures should've been up-sized to Voyager. But maybe they plan on designing and releasing a whole slew of new Headmaster figures within the next couple of years.
