I am fine with all it. I’d take a deep fake Luke, Leia and Han if it meant we got a Thrawn Trilogy sans that tiresome crazy Jedi. I feel like a Luke and Ahsoka meeting should kind of happen too.

No, it's just a Star Wars show in the same universe as everything else, and the cartoons were just as important and a part of the universe as the films.

Looks interesting but on second thoughts...no. I don’t think I could listen to my wife drone on about how it doesn’t look quite right. Pass.

I wish Mandalorian Bo-Katan tried to replicate Clone Wars Bo-Katan's weird physics-defying hair.

Say what you want about Rebels Bo and Yoda, but they did improve Sheev's look. Clone Wars Sidious' forehead looks like aged cheese mixed with a scrotum.

Yeah, but Clone Wars was before RotS. The Rebels Sidious looks much more like McDiarmid.

Also, the Magistrate looks a lot like Count Dooku.

Bo-Katan looked perpetual confused in Rebels and Yoda just looked like someone was looking at a pic of a stereotypical kindly old grandfather when designing that.

Probably require too much hair gel.

Yeah, some of the designs were fine, but the vast majority of characters in that art style were questionable. Like... how did they actually make the holo-image of Anakin look younger than his actual Clone Wars model?

I know that this post keeps getting quoted as a form of criticizing the Rebels designs, but damn do i personally like Ahsoka's, and old Obi-wan, they are both great, and i was slightly disappointed that live-action Ahsoka isn't closer to her Rebels design though i can understand why it might be like that, and i can accept it.

Most of the main characters (to which Ahsoka is close enough to being) are designed and animated pretty well, since they have to say and do so much more. The art style is more simple compared to TCW but also I imagine bit characters weren't given the same attention.

Agreed. Only Ahsoka and Old Ben Kenobi looked any good in that style and even that is somewhat debatable. Hell, the show itself practically looked ugly most of the time and the character redesigns of the characters from TCW are seriously not necessary. Say what you will about the character redesigns of most of the Maximals in Beast Machines but at least they had a very bad case of Executive Meddling via Dan Didio not wanting continuity between that with Beast Wars for whatever reason there may be. What's Rebels' excuse besides the producers being inexplicably cheap and/or lazy?

Out of those, I have never minded Vader, Ahsoka and Maul’s looks. Ben looks fine too, although I guess he doesn’t count since we’re mostly comparing their appearances to their TCW design. I know people have said Ahsoka’s face doesn’t look like her but I dunno, it really never bothered me. I liked how slightly stylized and pointy (?) that Maul looked. And Vader’s McQuarrie helmet didn’t bother me either.

Anakin and Yoda looked like trash though. Bo looked too old even though I’m sure she was designed with the right age in mind, and maybe Katee is technically 10 years too young to play her by the time of Mando, but she looks great so who gives a fuck.

That episode of the Mandarlorian was freaking amazing. The first ten minutes maybe equal too the greatest moments in Star Wars. So epic.

And yet it still didn't stop them from decanonizing it since the buyout and act like the show did not matter in any shape or form alongside many comics, novels, and video games that a lot of fans also loved.
