I'll say the early 2010 to early 2014.
    • Transformers were affordable (deluxes were only 10$) and the toys from all of the lines were awesome.
    • The TF games were great.
    • Prime came out around this time.
    • The movies while they weren't good, were still entertaining.
    • MTMTE was starting.
Then they fucked everything up by releasing AOE, the toylines (excluding Thrilling 30) were progressively getting worse and felt cheaper, Prime ended and was replaced by a worse show, and to end it off Rise of the Dark Spark came out.
They did redeem theirselves with TR, some of the POTP and CW figures ranged from ok to awesome! The movies had new management and we got Bumblebee! War for Cybertron trilogy is still going on strong, with tons of excellent great figures. I feel it's better to be a TF fan now.

I would say 2010 to present. This is the golden age of Transformers.

For Toys: 2015-2021, Combiner Wars to Kingdom, everything is outstanding and I look forward to the future

For shows: 2010 -2015, Prime & RID15. Voice talent was amazing and to have Peter Cullen and Frank Walker reprising their roles one last time will remain the greatest. As for modern TF shows, we’ll see my signature.

Comics: IDW has done and continues to do an amazing job.

In my opinion as others have said at least for me from around 2009-2014/15 it was the first time I got introduced to Transformers, and the idea of massive robots that can change forms and also battle blew my mind when I was little. Just looking at the ROTF Long Haul design made me just want to buy every figure I could see. At the end of the 2014/15 I ended up leaving TF since it wasn't enjoyable anymore to have or be interested in. Only since Titans Return when I went to Target I found Broadside and thought, maybe things have changed, and ever since then I've been back in to collecting and enjoying TF. Right now I feel is a great time also since we are getting figures like Studio Series Devastator which is a major technology leap you can call? We are getting interesting features again like 5 mm ports found all over the figures in WFC line to add blast effects and make my sets look even nicer to look at. I think that now if Hasbro keeps improving at what they are doing I think TF will continue to be in a gold era for media and TF figures.

I'd say silver age. Golden age would be when transformers debuted and the magic was still new.

I could see that too. Do golden age, silver age, have particular classifications? If they do I don’t know them :lol .

I gotcha, in terms of quality I would say 2010 to present, but G1 subjectively is the greatest. After all without G1 there is only Gobots.

The last 6 years. I loved the Devestation game.

It's been the golden age of toys. Fantastic updates of a lot of G1 characters including loads of obscure ones like Snapdragon, the Rainmakers and Rotorstorm. The Studio Series is great too.

Most of the figures also meet my criteria for vehicle scale.

The shows have been pretty good with Siege and Cyberverse. Flaws aside, I even enjoyed the Prime Trilogy, as long as Menasor isn't talking.

    Loving the Transformers 84 comics.

The Bumblebee movie especially the opening was a fan's dream.

Apart from this year, I love attending TFNation every year. More so for the new and old friends I've made each year.

Now I know when I'm going with my time machine and it's not 1930s Germany.

2006-2012, those were the days to be a transformers fan. Say what you will about those god-awful films, but they brought the franchise to heights that I haven't seen it reach again since.

I'm torn. I want to say right now because I'm a grown a$$ man and can afford MP figures while also having my son discover the show with me for the first time. If I'm being honest though, it's the 90s. We have access to every show on the planet, but all my kid wants to watch is the original series (doesn't mind if it's G1 or G2) and Beast Wars. So, I'd argue, if even today a kid wants to see OG Transformers and Beast Wars over the newer stuff, then you gotta pick the 90s.

The same time as your childhood. Everything before that is put on a pedastal by nostalgia and everything after not can't compare to what you liked as a kid.;)

Golden ages because Transformers had a "real" mainstream presence, people cared about the characters and story about Transformers, Transformers wasn't a toy commercial anymore.
Tons of FanArt, tons of new fans interested in the Transformers universe more than the toys themselves, Transformers was attractive to the whole world AGAIN
Closing the trilogy with DOTM (and creating hype with the upcoming AOE)
Dominating the animation industry (alongside My little pony)
Amazing incursion in the videogame industry with WFC/FOC and the upcoming Universe, also TF legends being a great trading card game
    IDW at their best

And then... AOE happened, RID happened, T30 happened, the dark spark happened, and G1 years started, bad videogames, bad cartoons, bad movies, forgettable comics, expensive toys, bad quality 0 Innovation and creativity to the point that Hasbro said fuck it lets remake G1 who cares about innovation they'll buy it anyway.
And now Transformers is again the toy commercial franchise, tons of missed opportunities, Universe for example, it could have been bigger than Overwatch or Fortnite, they just canceled it, same with Prime, same with every single good opportunity that the franchise had to become a great multimedia project

I would say mid-2010s, because then, more than any other era, you had something for everyone.

-Awesome Generations lines, like Titans Return. Not to mention Masterpiece for serious collectors.
-Multiple cartoons at once (end of Prime, Rescue Bots, RiD, etc.), even if I wasn't crazy about any of them. But the point is, there were multiple cartoons for kids to enjoy.
-I really liked the direction they took the movies after DotM, and even if you didn't, well you could still enjoy the earlier movies. I wasn't even crazy about TLK, but even it had a nice and underrated toy line and some neat ideas.

So yeah, I like the mid-2010s better than the reign of boredom we see now.
