I am still kind of surprised one is priced at $115 and the other at $140.

 

Plastic is cheap in the grand scheme of things. The complexity difference between the two of them is the main reason for the price difference - not the size. Fewer, more simple parts require far less work on the CAD models and masters.

 

Well thank you for the apology, I'm sure I wasn't all peaches and cream in my response.

The appeal is that it's unique and was part of making something better than itself. Plus Prime is my favorite character and this is one of my favorite looks of my favorite version of Prime; IDW. With IDW gone I thought this might be a special reminder of some of my favorite Transformers media. Production will have to do, and that's not such a bad seconday place.

I hope they'll come up with some really cool color schemes we have not seen before.

 

I hope we get as many colours as we can. I’m feeling real keen on the regular version, but I’ll happily get a shattered glass or even a cool reinvented nemesis design.

We are only a couple of weeks away from the release of this guy, and supposedly Chromedome will release two days from now. I am surprised we haven't seen any updates for the later.
