But seriously, maybe we can ask someone like ShowZ to open up an exclusive preorder to see how much momentum it gains and if it meets a certain threshold then they can move forward with it. I'd totally go for that!

 

I wonder if another ~company~ were to take a crack at the figure (like what was suggested on either this thread or another Ironhide thread) if they would honor past preorders and contact those who preordered the Wejiang Ironhide to ask them if theu still wanted this new one or if they would do entirely new preorders and cancel the others.

 

More than likely just a completely seperate order. There'd be way too much messing around following up pre-orders for Weijiang.

 

You're probably right- I will admit that I do remember ShowZ and TFsource having the BA Ironhide up for pre-order for at least a few weeks before it sold out, so hopefully it wouldn't be an issue getting them. But I'm getting WAY ahead of myself here. Lol

I really really REALLY hope we get another upscaled movie Ironhide with all of the bells and whistles that the other makers fell short on. Here's hoping!  

 

I mean, that was something we’ve known for months. I doubt even Showz would know whether someone else has the design.

It’s only $1, but I think maybe I should get my deposit back from Showz for this and a couple other things that are now canceled (like the SD twins).

 

Considering this too, mine was $2 and if there's gonna be another company picking it up they might just make a new listing altogether.

But part of me doesn't want to lose hope. Weijiang had the physical prototype finished, in color too iirc....

 

Remember what happened to all the zeta unicron preorders -- when the listing changed to 01 studio cell, all those that didn't cancel got their preorders automatically migrated to the new listing at the original price (+/- $240 if memory serves, way better than the $350-$400).

Sadly I did not get my PO in on time with this but if someone does puck it up, I'm sure ShowZ will do right by the early birds.

 

Yeah it's 5$ in deposit for me but I'm not going to ask for a refund unless ShowZ officially cancells every order first...

So interestingly the order from sirtoys (no fault of their own, in fact they've gone waaaaaaaaay above and beyond to send OS IH to me, rerouting and resending several times, and the box shows it :-D) finally arrived after 4? months of getting sent all over China.

For its size, it's definitely a good stand in for BA version in case this never sees light of day. It doesn't have the DNA kit so it does inherit all the faults of the original MPM mold. Now I learned supposedly the wheels help lock in the chest but having tried, will do that when I take him out from behind other bots and try. So the BMB OS IH right now stands with my BA prime, MPM ratchet, bee and jazz. That's the perfect scale and look (for now... until BA IH comes out.. if it does, then my display for the movie 1 bots is perfected :-D )

 

Just wanted to share my new addition to my true scale mpm collection. Not sure if this bmb belongs in this thread but couldn’t find one for it so I’m posting here. Want to let everyone know who didn’t, that the black mamba mold has indeed FIXED the problems with the official. I was struggling with getting him or not since the official one I have is far too small, but from almost every video, people said that the shoulders had a fix but it didn’t work well and the shoulders would still move. Completely incorrect. They are all doing it wrong and spreading a lot of misinformation about this piece. There was one guy on YouTube with subtitles that showed the correct way of doing it, and this is the result. Shoulders are firm and do not come undone, no modding needed unlike the BA prime mod I made if you guys have seen that. While this mold does not fix his shoulder placement, or give a better knee bend, the bigger size and the shoulder fix and final orientation make him look incredible. I hope somehow the BA ironhide does come to pass and will 100% get it if it ever does, but this bmb is more than just a temporary stand in. If you track this guy down and do the shoulder transformation correctly, I think you all will be more than please with how he looks in the collection. I returned the official ratchet knowing a KO would be made for cheaper so until then he is also a pic of 4 out of the main 5.

 

Yeah this is the BA Ironhide thread. Ironically I ordered the BMB version more than a month ago and it appears to be lost in China.   Lately China has been bad for me when it comes to shipping.

Good to know! Also fix the shoulder placement??? They’re exactly where they’re supposed to be. Even the BA KO would’ve had them in the same place. Movie ironhide just had wonky shoulders.

This thread seems to be for mourning the loss of Black Apple designed Ironhide, so updates seem to give folks (false) hope that it is resurfacing.
