The ER head is glued together by 3 pegs. I boiled for awhile and when the glue wouldn't give I just cut it in half while the plastic was soft thereby cutting the pegs off. I'll glue it together onto the T30 body when I get some more glue.

The T30 head actually has a FAR greater range of motion up and down. Mine popped off T30 Arcee easily and onto the ER body with no issues.

That’s the preferred way as trying to pull the head off WILL cause warping damage due to the size of the neck ball joint relative to the opening for the neck itself. Other more problematic risk is damaging or tearing off the neck joint altogether with pulling.

My replacement Runamuck arrived yesterday. Everything seems to align and tab together properly now.
The one that I had "fixed" deformed back to its original, warped state, soni returned it.

I remember getting the Soundwave with Ratbat for Christmas from my dad after I found out it was not available in Canada.

You basically just need to get the paint off the 2 pegs in the 1st picture. You still end up with a gap at the sides, but I don't know what you can do there. Not sure why hasbro used such a large tolerance for that.

Many, many thanks to Mr. Chaos for hooking me up with Bee and Elita One. Here they are, with Bee using the Shining B2 Arms Micron. (switched pic with better quality version)

Received Runabout in the mail today...he's great. His quality is everything Runamuck is lacking. Sorry to drag you through the mud a bit, Runamuck, but you kind of deserve it. Didn't need to sand any tabs, didn't need to sand the part of the wheel that connects to the wheel well to get the tires to come out fully in the back end, just perfect right out of the box. No ham-handing to get everything in place, either. Might be my last Earthrise car, and a pretty good one at that.

Might have sold myself a little too hard on Cratermaker as a replacement Roller because I made him an adapter (ironic, considering how I complained about a 3P option that required one). Design-wise, it's ~3.1 cm wide where it connects and ~0.5 cm tall, with the connecting hole 0.5 cm in away from the edge and the Micromaster mount hole 1cm away from that. If you wanted to, you could totally lengthen it for longer Micromasters (mine is a little over 4cm due to the slope). As it is, it works best with Flak and Cratermaker.

Also decided to transplant some of the Astrotrain weapons to Optimus for that prototype Battle Convoy flair. I personally like it over the left shoulder only because of how the missile pod is designed, allowing upward tilt (if only that peg was on the other side).

Gotta love me putting Earthrise Optimus fairly low on my personal to-buy list and here I am having a blast with it, adding stuff from outside of its from-the-box configurations. If it's not obvious, I'm really enjoying this toy. It's not often where I think a toy warrants having extra pizzazz added despite already being pretty good.

Evil Bumblejumper is here to sell his services to the highest bidder! Not a fan of the Mercenary faction logo, though I like the idea of mercenary Transformers. Other than that though, he looks great. Some have reported a loose waist and mine has a bit of that, but it's not enough to be much of a problem.

And here he is with his mold-mates. I must say, these little guys are one of the highlights of the ER line. They're just really fun figures, and despite their small size I think they're worth the Deluxe price.
