The Leviathan is a Biblical demon.

Anime use to names like that all the time. There were a bunch of them in Digimon. They'd do without any real thought of the Religious overtones, but because it sounds cool.

 

I like the Street Shark mode.

 

Ironically, I thought Leviamon was rather fine. They made him a giant sea beast with his main move being a jaw thing.

Not a demon, but sure. It’s just referred to as a beast/s that’s different than any other and can’t be killed by a person. Never seen anyone refer to it as a demon before.

 

The shark-bot hybrid is aces. I'm happy with this set so far. Still waiting on poseidon to creep down to $350, but i doubt that will ever happen

 

Well, maybe one day Xtransbots or Fanstoys will tackle them and give them a refined G1 style.

Satanism does so, crowning him one of the four princes of hell, and Christianity does something similar I think. Having said that, keep in mind biblical things get confusing. Such as Satan originally meaning the adversary, the test against humanity and seems to do God's bidding, but in Christian books, the devil is the enemy of christ and nowadays Satan is considered the devil. Bibles messy yall

Nope. Devil has been called the leviathan like 1-2 times (mostly in reference to him always being called a dragon) but mostly the leviathan in the Bible is simply a creature of the sea that was unique to others and couldn’t be killed by any man.

This Rippersnapper has the best bot mode. Look at that face sculpt. It surely looks like its the leader of the group...or any group  

Perhaps the white colouring is to give it a Great White shark feel to it.

 

At the beginnig I was shocked by that lipstick then really quite istantly I thoght could be referred to blood, after all backpack Leviathan since first reveal shots has always reminded me 1975 Jaws movie cover poster and I appreciated it a lot   but from later pics seems more pink than red intense, and anyway they should have kept white or grey teeth. Is a pity because is the best of these Terrorcons but as you said if he can be repainted there ,problem is solved.

 

This looks to be the most interesting Abominus combiner...all others seemed so chunky to me it would just look like a pile of plastic on the shelf.

I’ll get these guys depending on the height and the over all cohesiveness of the it when it comes together. But the Street Shark looks awesome.
