Are the XTB “T” versions the toy versions? Are their differences with respect to die cast parts or is it just colors and stickers?

 

Different heads, some color differences, and more tampos (they were stickers in the photos but XTB's rep says they will be tampo'd paint apps, which is a relief). They may also come with the backpack laser cannons for the car modes as were shown in some renders, but that remains to be seen.

 

I am in on Xtransbots and the Fanstoys.

Man, XTB really taking home the pole. I guess this is from before FT had released any carbots? Even I have XTB selected as the choice. I think I’d be leaning more FT now and DX9 winning the race should give them a bump .

Let's be honest. Dx9 is the only one where we already know how stable and good it is in combined mode because we essentially have the whole thing in hand. Fans toys has just given us renders, and xtb photos of a prototype which obviously has big problems because they keep delaying the trailer and apparently had a redesign. Just my 2 cents.

 

In my opinion the scale is perfect too. All we need is that goddamned trailer already...

Yup, XTB. Three of the limb bots have been released already. Still waiting on one limb, Motormaster and the trailer/ skeleton.

 

Man. Every time I think I’ve decided I change my mind. I don’t want to keep waiting to order because costs will go up but I don’t want to commit to something I’ve not seen. I’ll just wait until both are released. There may be a newer by then.

 

They all look great. Only DX9 and XTB are enjoyable to handle and pose. Only DX9 is actually fun and intuitive to transform. So DX9 for me.

Looking at the recently revealed finished DX9, and got to thinking.

Even though we'll need a break from Menasor for awhile after everyone gets there respective version finished, I'm now also onboard with the idea of someone making a version with the cars actually serving as his limbs as opposed to gray blocks they just attach onto.

I mean Unique Toys figured out how to build a hinge and hide it the limb bots torso, what has it been six years or so already?

 

I believe rising force is making a traditional menasor, their not dragstrip "creep" is up for preorder. Their designer has a pretty good presence in that thread.

 

None really suit my vibe except for the rising force design. I like XTB’s the most of the parts forming variety cause it has all the options from using the trailer as the combiner and as a base. So if I wanted a partsforming Menasor I’d buy theirs easily. But I’m more interested in seeing the original Motormaster design be recreated.

 

Do people still think that X-Transbots is the best?
