Yup. Just shaved/shaped it until it looked like a normal head. I had to fill some holes with epoxy behind the ears where it was thinner.

Nice! I'd love to see this in Holi white as well.

Is there a way you can show us how you did this? I kind of want to do some of the modifications to make my Prowl a bit taller and maybe modify his shoulders.

This mold looks so much better with feet.

I love how you went that extra mile to make him transform exactly like his Micromaster counterpart from altering the legs to even making sure his hood backpack slides back in the same way.

So a quick update: I got SteamShield's shapeways head and chestplate for Stakeout. They look great! Here they are installed and painted up:

Necropost because I'm working on converting a spare Dustup into a TR Minerva.

How exactly did you modify the legs to end up with the trunk as the shins? From what I'm seeing on my mold, did you start by swaping the lower legs?

ubertenorman made a guide - it involves popping pins and carving out the inside of the legs.

Nice! I like the feet in alt mode, too. I think the black paint subdues their impact a bit. Futuristic looking!

Are you going to add stickers or decals to spell "police" on the bonnet and doors?

Is the shapeways head still available for this guy? I looked through Steamshields' offerings and didn't find it.
