Okay, so first, I'm not going to speculate on any later wave repacks of characters from other lines, like Galvatron and Cyclonus or Springer.

I'd also really love Blaster (and his cassettes) and Perceptor, though apparently they're not under consideration right now. But a voyager sized Blaster with four Micromaster-sized cassettes sold as a leader would be great.

So really, who's that leave?

1 and 2) Sludge and Swoop. A leader for Sludge, you could possibly get away with a voyager for Swoop. I think, sadly, Snarl might get excluded since he only appears in a few frames.

3) Blitzwing, voyager. Blitzwing is a lot like Jazz. Not in it much, but in a few notable scenes, especially with Kup doing his barrel loop-de-loop.

4-6) Maybe the Insecticons? They've also got some fairly significant screentime. Maybe a voyager set of three "core class" size?

 

Well I for one would really like to see an excellent rendition in the core class of the cassettes Rumble and Frenzy are big on my list as the siege ones though recognizable for what they are supposed to be really will look out of place next to some of the fantastic work they've done for the rest of revealed characters from the Studio '86 line. Plus they were major players for my childhood memories. As emotionally scared from the death of Optimus I'll be equally saddened by very poor representations of those two ... and though they actually did a pretty good job on the new earthrise Laserbeak the Ravage still could use a little help.

We should see a Quintesson Prosecutor and the Bailiff repaint of the Allicon in SS 86.
Hasbro may not want to do a Prosecutor so soon after the Judge, but if SS86 is succesful they'll probably do one next year.

 

So the ones we know for wave 2 are Gnaw, Wreck-gar and Snarl right? I wonder what the others are...
I personally am hoping for Percy and Blaster...

Hot Rod has a repaint

 

Will it be a different character or a more premium painted Hot Rod in the Netflix line? I'm hoping for the latter.

 

I think it's more in the veins of Selects/ exclusive. Hopefully its Black Rodimus Convoy, I don't want to track down a Masterpiece ehobby exclusive that has explosive knees...

I may have to start petitioning hard for at least Ironhide in SS'86 since the damn 2 pack is like $170 now. If Kingdom Ultra Magnus is a disappointment then maybe a 'toon accurate version here.

And not sure on Hot Rod, but hoping for Octane from Rodimus over in WFC or Selects.

 

With plans on getting shattered glass Optimus that would be awesome
