What can I say? We should always give thanks for great things, every day of our lives - and today specifically I am giving thanks for hours of happy memories watching Transformers Prime - which turns ten today.

I feel old. Seriously It feels like just yesterday I watched the premiere because I heard everyone freak out over them killing an autobot, I remember my mom surprising me with cliffjumper and soundwave. Lots of nice memories.

this show made me a fan. It has everything imo ( just putting it here so no idiot writes a 15 page essay on why I shouldn’t like this show)

it had great characters
Great story
Great villains
Great action
Great animation

I rewatched this show earlier this year with a critical eye and it still holds up! I would definitely recommend this show to a new fan

 

My childhood show i love this series and continuity, way better than that garbage crap called animated

 

Sweet old memories. This series was that got me back more actively in the boards. TFPrime was a HUGE success in Latin America and it was the reason many new fans got into our local collecting groups.

One curious thing about TFPrime was that First Edition Voyager Optimus and Bulkhead were available here in Peru before any other place. I was able to ship some to fellow members of the boards. Amazing balance between design, engineering and transformation. Not so complex, not so simple.

It felt like yesterday that it came out. I have so many fond memories of it. It was my G1. Happy tenth anniversary Prime!

 

The series should of had a longer run, instead Hasbro went and got cheap on us, and every other series after it has been a joke.

 

That First Edition Optimus is still one of my favorite figures. This series brought a whole lotta love to the fandom, and is one of my personal favorites to this day. Alongside Animated & G1, I think this series is the absolute epitome of Transformersdom.

 

Loved TF Prime...all the way until Season 3 premiered and immediately shredded any and all potential left in the wake of the Season 2 finale.

 

Such an amazing show. Shame Season 3 was cut short and Season 4 was cancelled.

Regardless, I really do think the series had a beautiful ending. Almost reminiscent of Beast Machines.

 

Sadly this year is where the Aligned ends

 

To commemorate this occasion, I present a lovely, albeit a bit dusty and dinged up, MacGuffin! Allegedly, this old thing has being laying hidden and dormant for centuries! Thought it'd be fun to break it out now.

 

Wow it's been that long, I loved this show when i was a kid, i still think dreadwing should have not died

 

I remembered when it first aired on the Hub, I huddled up on the old leather couch watching the first episode. I can only remember Megatron, but this was the show that got me into Transformers, even though I had watched the G1 movie, all of Animated, and the first two Bayformers movies before the Hub came to existance. Its been so long ago and now I feel so much has passed. To think that with the cancellation of Rescue Bots Academy this year, this continuity is coming to an end. Without it, I wouldn't have written my first fanfic that got me into this franchise. Arms Micron War Breakdown was my very first Transformers toy alongside Zamu. I hope to rewrite that fanfic someday and really prove how much I've improved. "Hammertime!"

Ah yes, Prime. What solidified my place as a TF fan. What started with RoTF and Animated and peaked with this show. Honestly the last TV show I ever bothered to watch before going for Youtube. I still miss it. Maybe I'll watch it again some time for a good time.
