Now we're getting clever. Really nice blast effects is one thing. Lighting up is also cool. But tying the light to a nice in prop like a chunk of raw energon? I am super down with all of this

Thats pretty cool. Im just waiting to see what Noneff comes out with first since he uses colored plastic rather than painted 3D printing.

On a side note, Hasbro must have been anticipating 3rd party spoiler add on kits because there is no logical reason to have peg holes behind Sunstreaker's legs that get covered by the cockpit in car mode. They serve no purpose to accommodate anything Hasbro made for the figure. Thats pretty cool of them.

 

I like the look of these. I'm a big blast effect fan, and I would have been interested even without the lights. I'll probably wait until I see a review of them before buying though.

I think the raw energon piece is a cool idea too.

 

These look cool, but I kinda wish that the energon that came with them were the same color as the blast effect and not all pink. In fact, I kinda wish there was just a pack of all different colored light up energons in different shapes. Like I'd love some blue crystals like in Beast Wars and some pink cubes like in G1. Even some green lumps of Tox-En. And you know, some light up energon weapons would be cool too! I mean, give me versions of these that light up and can fit in a 5mm port and I'd be happy!

 

It's like acquiring Kyber crystals at Disneyland for your newly assembled lightsaber.

...Sorry, I saw a video on Youtube recently, showcasing the Galaxy's Edge attraction. For what ever reason, this reminded me of that. 

 

Shockwave's Lab really needs to re-evaluate what it is the people really need/want.

All this useless junk we never asked for is getting old.

how about making much desired weapons packs? how about hand packs, or swappable head packs. you know, things we can actually use.

Seems like they have an endless supply of Amazon LEDs and are just cramming them into anything and everything they can find from various chinese KO discount sites like WISH. :/

 

Respectfully, this is the one thing I've been eager to see an LED jammed into and particularly with stock blast effects melting plastic, I've certainly been hungry for an alternative as some others have been. These look better than the homebrew KOs of Hasbro effects I'd been resigned to.

 

Blast effects are one of the most requested accessories, period.

I've tried looking for these magnetic switch LEDS on Amazon. They don't carry 'em. If you can point out where I can find them separately outside of Gundam parts auctions on eBay, then let me know, please.

That problem is way overblown. Yes, some people have had issues (primarily paint) but nothing that actually caused plastic to melt into a resin pool or crumble into Thanos dust.

They are not using the same rubbery plastic Hasbro uses, so no.

 

Why are people always complaining? One man's trash is another man's treasure.

Don't like it, don't buy it and move on.

The fact its happened at all is a problem. And possibly one of the reasons why the battlemasters were nearly nonexistant in earthrise and gone by Kingdom

 

Alot of my blast parts are a little bent at the end , which makes it look like my figs have derpy blasters.

Still glad Hasbro made the blast gimmick optional so it didnt really interfere with the designs.

 

Yeah, that's what I thought when I was designing them. All I can think of is that maybe they didn't want spoiler bits hanging off of the arms, or maybe they just ran out of plastic for the figure or something. Though having 5mm pegs on the forearms is pretty standard now so it could just be a coincidence too. Either way it's helpful!

Sounds like the similar way LED Ice Cubes work.

I need at least 3 or 4 sets of these so I'm sure I will be spamming the heck out our Chinese friends with Multi-buy options - heck I might just ask them for wholesale prices and get something daft like 20 of each (i'm only slightly exagerating too).

Oh and fun thought - you may be able to use these with Superlink/Energon toys too !

I'm very interested in using them as Rocket exhausts too - especially on Jetfire.

 

It's officially released now and just have to wait for the usual sites to list them.

 

I\'ve been wishing Hasbro would put out a pack of blast effects since Siege first launched. I don\'t need extra tiny robots that turn into guns so that Optimus can have a big boom piece. These are perfectly splendid. I may only get them for Optimus and Megatron, but, TBH, how cool would it be to have Shockwave Prime firing them from all three of his blaster pieces (plus the mini-Shockwave pistol from Centurion)? I\'m definitely digging these. It\'ll depend on their price points, though...
