I'm betting his name isn't even really Sixo.

 

I fucking bet he was in Electrical, where the body was found. His ruse about being in Admin the whole time is starting to crumble...

BBTS amirite, something something knee ratchets

 

Speaking of knee ratchets... Is there going to be an official way to get replacement parts for the messed up knees or are we stuck? Should i contact ShowZ over this?

 

Nothing they can do yet. Ft said no replacement parts or fixes at this time. There was a fix just a few pages back

 

I looked at them but i'm not confident digging around inside a multi-hundred dollar toy if i don't have clear instructions. I asked one of the people who tried explaining a fix for further help but i never got a response.

As it is right now I can get to the top part of the ratchet (thigh area above knee) easy enough but i'm not sure if the problem is in that top part. If the problem is in the bottom part of the ratchet (below the knee) then i'm not sure what i need to do to get in there. And i'm afraid to even transform it at this point.

I know a lot of people here can take the risk digging around, but i can't. If i break it i'll not be able to replace it anytime soon.

 

The knee won't be bothered by transformation but as I said before the chest needs delicate care when being manipulated

 

Oh yeah, that's the other part freaking me out lol. His chest. So for now he'll be in perma-walking statue mode until i am ready to tackle the problems.

 

Knee doesnt do anything, just looks weird. I took the screws out of his chest so they dont rip the plastic out coming out when transforming so he partsforms now, but besides that there's no issues just be careful of paint when transforming anyway

 

I saw two fixes for the chest. One seemed easy and involves cutting the tip off of a common house nail. I need to save that one for when the time comes

 

So, just the messed up knee, the screws that rip out of the chest, and paint scraping off when it is transformed......on a $220+ figure........but besides that there are no issues......unbelievable the stuff people brush off because "Fanstoys".

 

I was giving suggestions so he can still transform him, I never said they weren't bs.
brush off bc FT? Anytime there's an issue with a FT figure the threads have a hundred pages complaining about it so those people are a minority.

 

That was my fix. Here it is again. Very easy to do. I used a dab of crazy glue at the end to keep the nail from coming out. They are from an Ethernet cable staple. I think the coaxial ones might have a bigger nail. The head of the nail fits perfectly in the opening. Like it was made for it. It took a few minutes to do mostly taking it a art and sizing up the nail but it’s worth it. It makes transformation so much easier and care free

 

I contacted David at Showz and he told me to submit an aftersales parts request. I don't know what'll come of it though.

For the time being I've found that I can get him into a good A-stance by forcing the knee to stay mid-ratchet. It's not a satisfying solution but at least it looks fine on the shelf.

 

So BBTS still hasn't got their stock in??

 

I'm gonna have to to make a request too. I paid too much money for this damn thing to just let it slide.
