I'm not seeing the problem here
Either they come out with a four-foot Metroplex, or someone makes a KO version of Utopia from maketoys whichever one comes first, it's fine by me.
I'll drop $1,500 on a double-sized MakeToys Utopia right now baby, the spaceship mode made that beast the white-whale I'm still chasing.

Οne thing is certain at this point: Whatever the results, ambitions have been set through the roof.

Truth. And yet somehow, the bigger they build them, the less I care about them.

Its quite logical actually: Less fun to fiddle with, takes a lot of space, needs a lot of money, your wife is probably going to kill you....etc etc....

It would probably be their display base for their figures.

Just think of this figure as a folding phone (modern, not flip phones from the 2000s).

Εven at that size, interaction is not going to be proper. I don't think it would be possible to be able to display 4-5 MP scaled ones. And even then its going to get a tad bit wonky. Just adding a combiner to the mix eliminates all sense of disbelief.

i think a lot of us actually understand the size this will be , i have already taken measurements of where this will go and i'm not alone with that others in this thread have too :lol  also this is going to cost more than haslab unicron but i bet anything fanstoys will release this in parts to stretch the cost and shipping costs ..for example i'm betting cerebros will be released waaay before any body parts

collectors with a disposable income will be all over this a lot of people pay £1000 upwards just for statues ... if you go on sideshow collectibles website and look at the prices of their life size starwars statue's you will have a heart attack i almost did :lol  but they sell out :)

$2000 i think your way off the mark it will cost less than that but i can see it costing around $1000

There's absolutely no way on earth this thing comes in at $1,000 total including the head unless it was Zeta putting it out. But I agree with you that there's more demand than people think for this kind of item..

There was a time when I thought that their Omega Supreme was never happening. I'm not saying it's happening but I've learned to not doubt FT.

My Guess is that Cerebros comes out in 2021 or 2022 but the body might be significantly later.

I guarantee before FT announced this they made a rough prototype with the plastic and joints to test this out. They know they can make a stable figure this big and IF this one is successful they will do the rest. They also know the price point is critical. I think it will be $800-$1000 even if it comes in parts. FT NEEDS this to be successful. Pricing everyone out of the initial market at $2K is a nonstarter. Following their current template and put out a limited number at $800 then $1000 then $1200 is far more palatable as the secondary market on these goes through the roof. It might make sense to buy multiple and be a dick and sell them on secondary market waiting for the slightly more expensive reissue. The shipping will be the prohibitive factor there. I am going to have to look at the Taobao arbitrage. Damn, you're getting me interested in buying 100 cases of this one.

Totally agree. Especially at the size this guy's coming in, production-wise, we're seeing something pretty early.

Though to think price-wise, using FT's current market as a benchmark. I'm guessing Cerebros goes up for $200 at most, and the body at $800. Boom, $1K on the dot sounds pretty fair considering the whole shabang.

I think it is going to be like Terminus and be an A-E to spread the cost out with a tight arm and leg locking system that means they can split it up. I also believe they will do a Gasket/Grommet/Cog type robot. It's too easy to throw in the mix with the multiple releases as an F and it will sell. I don't think Cerebros will be $200. I can see him being the start of an Autobot Headmaster collection now that MT is just not interested in finishing their grouping. They might start with Brainstorm and Highbrow just to kick MT out of the way. Again, if successful I think FT would quickly following with the announcement of Metroplex and then maybe Scorponok, Trypticon, and Unicron.

Ladies can't resist these sweet pecs!

*Flexing with 2 FT Fort Max-es, both of which are hypothetically now worth $2000 in the aftermarket, each.*

I dont like headmasters, but I hope this and Scorponok get made so I can get Metroplex and Trypticon. These probably wont get reissued and you dont wanna miss out on PO or you'll definitely be sorry.

    YouTube (Legacy):
So many figures and such little time. At the rate they put out figures we would all probably be dead before we saw all the ones we want.

i am very curious if this will actually happen or not. I’d give FT higher odds than most companies, but it’s still an absolutely insane thing to pull off.
