My biggest issue with it is that half of their "errors" aren't necessarily errors or plot holes so much as things individual fans (or groups of fans) took issue with.

So someone said something about TFP Wheeljack being best Jackie (I agree) but I'm gonna add something too it. I think Wheeljack makes more sense to be a Wrecker than Perceptor. Jackie is described as a "mad scientist" for the Autobots so sort of fits with an unconventional group like the Wreckers. Unconventional as in not behaving or fighting like Autobots would. Perceptor is the definition of a scientist so if anything he should be more frequent in that role.

But onto a different subject: I think Aerialbots are overused, Protectobots are bland. Hot take here but I'd rather other, lesser-known/used, combiners become defacto combiner teams for a couple years. Bring back the Trainbots, Brainmasters, and Torchbearers. Not forever but just to get more variety out there. Same thing for the Cons. Give me Liokaiser or God Neptune before another Menasor or Bruticus.

Gender Swapping is stupid imo. If a pre-existing character has gender it should stay that way. Like why in the world is Acid Storm in Cyberverse a female?

Unpopular would be my opinion of liking the TFA villains. I felt they were a lot more fun than most of the TFA Decepticons. Heck, even Marvel had outlandish and corny villains and I loved it.

I like earthrise arcee, think she's better than the generations one.

Not sure if it's unpopular but I like how Red Alert had a medic role in siege, and I kinda preferred his calmer demenor, guess like the Unicron trilogy.

 

Humans in the transformers franchise are not an inherently bad thing. They can even be good characters as long as they are well written, useful to the story, and do not take all the focus away from the robots.

 

I personally don't mind gender-swapping lesser known characters like acid storm. What bothers me is when writers gender-swap characters instead of doing anything clever and interesting with them.

I would be most interested in a new TF series that includes no characters that currently exist. No Optimus Prime, no Megs, and for the sake of all that is good in this world, no Bumblebee and no Starscream.

That didn't sit well with me. I mean, he was originally a paranoid security director. Why make a chill medic out of him? I kind a liked him when he was running around in a panic, freaking out about stuff.

I would like it too if Hasbro harkened back to the 1986 movie and introduced a line up of entirely new names we haven't seen before. The closest modern day parallel to that is BotBots, but the names they use are way too gimmicky. No more "incarnations" of Optimus, Shockwave, or Galvatron. Show me a new Prime, a new Decepticon leader (that happens to be a Megatron stan), a new kid appeal character. Anything. Bring back original Transformers.
