So how rare are Dinobots with 1984 box art?

Something else I noticed, they have the dark grey insert card (similar to cars) and the 84 product catalog.

Somewhat rare but you still see a decent amount of them. They will sometimes have the light grey inserts as well.

Cool, I noticed they came from a different asst # (5770 vs. 5771) that also didnt have Swoop.

The UK never got Swoop, not sure if that could explain the assortment number?

    It's great

Are those vintage Constructicons? They look like they are in reasonable scale with Hot Rod (I thought they were much smaller)

If anyone needs more Micromasters, Mini-spies are pretty good alternatives, and they’re dirt cheap.

Or do they go better with Minibots?

Yup. If you’re thinking of getting some, I would highly recommend them.

The collector’s case I found these two in also had a sizable chunk of Devy parts. Somehow Devy is both bigger and smaller than I expected.

This is the G1 appreciation thread, we generally think all these molds are worthy of purchasing! Haha.

But yes, Fangry and Blitzwing still hold up really well, I actually had he exact same thought about Blitzwing while I was taking the photos. He's a really good toy with two absolutely solid alt modes, especially that chunky tank.

I kind of like that Blitzwing redeco. The colors are pretty tasteful and he fits in well with a G1 shelf. That Astrotrain on the other hand... Woof.

One of the nicest condition Pyro figures I've ever found...

Condemned to the same fate as so many others.

    20201128_165444.jpg

I'm going to glue him together and use him as my display one, and keep my good one as backup.

I just picked up the blaster Walmart reissue it’s a bummer he did not come with any cassettes. I’ve looked high and low on the internet and can not find any for him. Anybody got any leads or can point me in the right direction? Thanks for anyhelp

Blaster has been reissued about 4 times now, and every time he's come with some cassettes, it's weird that the latest release doesn't. Plenty of cassettes on ebay though.

Unexpected find at a local toy shop today ... I know it’s a KO, but I’ve been hunting for one at a decent price since the combiner parts better match the European colors!!

about to go combine them now
