Oh hey, those are the Guardian enemies from the FOC game. Even though the Cybertron games are completely dead in the ground, they still found a way to reference that universe in the most vague way. Kinda like most arcade games honestly.

 

The style and machine looks like it could be fun, but that trailer was terribly made 

 

Yes, the soulless, Breath of the Wild rip off, gacha game isn't terrible.

 

Im just gonna list what I noticed here and why this is pretty bad in my opinion, ( just what I seemed to notice not 100% sure if this is what happened don\'t take my word )
Shrinking models, 
Textures going against the other art style the cars for example,
Basic enemies are not steve, 
And basically just very bad animations on megatron on the official trailer.

 

 

I know I'm beating a dead horse with this but... WHY IS IT ALWAYS EVERGREEN? XD

Also I'm just gonna say it... I could gather like one or two friends right now and make something better-looking than this in a month.

 

Maybe I'm alone here, but when I hear Transformers VR, I expect something like this here;

 

Basically for the kind of game that you'll see in a mall yeah this is exactly what I'd expect. For a home title I'd of loved to have seen some use of a floor space. Hell a dedicated team could probably mod WFC to play as an FPS.... But transforming and driving would both be awesome and instant motion sickness. When I got my Vive years ago I had a freebie game that was based around having a jet pack. Flying into walls and going full speed into the ground legit had me tensing up like I was actually going to hit something.
