The lack of FEETS is distracting, but otherwise that's a nice sculpt that I didn't realize existed.

Nice comparison! Your writing style makes for easy reading.
I hold a strong reverence for the original Sunstreaker. As you said, his proportions are a bit wonky, but the alt mode and that face sculpt are fantastic! I collect MPs and when Cordon was released, I swear I would have paid the figure's price just for the damned head.
I don't collect WFC figures, but I've been tempted. If not for parts-forming (a concept I hate), Cliff would have been one. If not for the crude leg transformation in vehicle mode, Trailbreaker would have been another. I thought Sunstreaker would be a definite "yes!" until I saw him. The soul patch is distracting, but a little silver paint will remedy that. The mismatched yellows is a bigger problem, but not terribly difficult if I'm willing to paint the desirable yellow with a less-saturated "banana" hue like the plastic. Painting the plastic a more vibrant yellow to match the paint would not be worth the effort. In the end, I think it's a pass for me. I'm still holding out for a toy version of MP-39 (that's not red).

Ok, it says "Optimus Prime", yet I still have no idea what it is. It's unrecognizable to me, but it's fantastic.

Are these last couple of posts intended to be sarcastic, or serious? My sincere apologies if the latter, but this figure is just terrible, in my opinion. I had to double-check the forum title to make sure I wasn't in "Unpopular Transformers Opinions". I don't mean to sound disparaging of your interests, but... damn.

I tend to dabble in multiple iterations of the Transformers franchise. The more traditional WFC aesthetic is my favorite, but I also enjoy the more quirky designs from Studio Series as well, though I’m more picky about which of those figures I like. So happens, I do enjoy the Arcee triplets, so the answer to your question would be that my last couple posts were serious. I’m aware that’s not a popular opinion, but it’s ok. Everyone’s allowed to have their own. I appreciate your more gentle relaying of your opinion though (not being sarcastic). Happy Thanksgiving and stay safe!
    Agreed and thank you.

Hey, I say it often enough, and I mean it: to each his/her own. I've never given one whit about whether other people approve of my opinions, and you shouldn't either. I genuinely thought you were probably being sarcastic, but I hedged on the side of snarky humour rather than outright denigration just in case. I guessed wrongly. Humour aside, I really don't find anything redeemable in that character model, but my opinion carries no more value on here than anyone else's. Like what you like!

And Happy Thanksgiving to you as well!

Don't mind my dingy carpet, this was the only spot in my room that I could get some decent natural light.

This is also the only pic that didn't come out super blurry. :/
