Was it something like Spectre Rogue $79, Regular $69, Otomo $139? (I was close on Otomo)

Otomo $144 and Spectre $99 are still on sale, just less so. Regular $119. Heck of a deal yesterday on the Regular release if that was the price.

 

tfsource yesterday had them for (in USD) 69.99 for black/orange, 79.99 for white, and 139.99 for otomo. not sure about the weapons or figures packs.

 

If you missed this deal and regret it, TF-source usually brings the all the deals of the week back at the end of the week so hold tight a couple of days!

 

I'd been looking at these for a few years now. Wanted to jump into the kickstarter, but life got in the way.
but I couldn't pass up this black friday sale. I look forward to finally having a Bastard and a prospector.

 

With shipping and tax, I am looking at 85 plus.

This is such a great design, tho I would have loved an ab-crunch on the big bot...

Basically an incredibly well articulated small action figure... that has quite a few weapon and customization options... that comes with a kickass chopper (its a chopper baby... Zeds dead...) and combines into an awesome (well articulated) giant robot that also has some great weapon options.

Love these toys. I hope the line finds a way to continue tho that seems pretty unlikely.

Originally it was supposed to be a run of 30 pcs but the short story was that one was made as a prototype for the 30 and it was raffled off when the run was canceled.

 

There were 2 prototypes raffled. Another poster here won the other one. There were also one (maybe two?) sets of purple weapons raffled.

 

And people who had paid for the limited purple figure never got their money back. I ordered 3... I'm owed $500 still!

 

Sorry to hear that. I ordered one and I'm already pissed. The ethics of some business people are so disappointing.

 

Close. The prototype was that. A prototype taken to conventions to help sell the brand. Many of us wanted a cool purple deco so they sold one to us...

Then all hell broke loose.

Some of us cut our losses and picked up a figure at a discount, others, quite rightly, wanted their money back.

Sadly those who waited to get their money back will likely never see it. This is through no fault of their own and I wish it were different. We, and the creators of these toys, were conned.

Two of the figures and two weapons packs were raffled off and the winners have received their winnings. The prototypes won are prototypes with all their idiosyncrasies such as glued parts, imperfect tolerances etc.

 

I was one that lost money on a purple too. I was just trying to give an abbreviated account. I went all in on the comics too

 

Same here, and with all said and done I'd still buy the Yamazukis if they can get made one day, by a more reputable company than Maas was.
