Yeah, I remember that! However, I plan to go back to my folks’ house to bring back the MSIA Elmeth and Big Zam...I’m worried Bandai won’t mass produce the latter! Hahaha!

Finally opened my Perfect Gundam after getting it from the bluefin sale a month or so ago. As I said earlier I took a long break from Robot Damashii and was surprised how expensive they were now, but the sale brought it down just enough. Plus I love Plamo Kyoshiro and even though most find the design gaudy, I like it.

But man this thing is super fiddly. The base RX-78 is fine but putting all the armor on it is crap, mainly because of some of the tolerances on the pegs/holes. Like that skirt armor is just trash, and to make things worse, the holes in the skirt that they attach to really ruin the base RX-78 design. All for nothing. I put them back in the box because I would just end up losing them. No idea if there's some trick to putting them on but I could not get them to stay. The shoulder armor is just held on by friction. The backpack is one little peg (though thankfully the front armor also pegs it into place). The lower front armor is pegged into the upper front armor and is just hanging there. The shield won't stay without the bracelet at all.

For something that retails for around 75 bucks, it's disappointing. For the price I paid for it it's... ok.

Confirmation that the GP03 comes with the arm-extending gimmick:

This gives hope there's an Orchis platform on deck . . .

also, no TWE logo means this should be a regular retail release

My Eva00 Figuarts came with bandaged parts, missile, gatling gun, two chest plates, two swappable shoulders, etc, etc. Also came with the handcuffs, the cross, etc. I didn't opened yet (arrived yesterday) but I will share pictures soon.

Joint tolerances look much better compared to the Barbatos. I love that the foot blades are diecast, cool stuff! The retracting covers for the lance reload is pretty sweet too.

    Hacchakas review for Vidar

Like the Rex it looks absolutely rad. Really hope the joints are better. Probably won't get it as it's still a web exclusive.

Finally have a regular Eva Unit 01.

Aesthetic-wise, the new version is better looking. It's sleeker, and the abdomen and hips are not as ugly looking as the old version.

But some stuff I prefer in the old version over the new one. The pylons for example, are more accurate to how they were in the films. The pylons of the new version are more accurate to how they were in the TV version.

And yes, the hips didn't look good, but they had more range of movement than the new one.

And I don't know if the regular version was the same as the Awakened version, but the jaw had double joints allowing for more articulation. The new one only have 1 joint at the base of the mouth, also the teeth are not sculpt in.

One last thing, I wish it included an entry plug piece. It should be as essential as Mazinger Z's Pilder.

My mistake, no missile inside. :lol  The box is huge. Did you got the pre-order standbase with this one? It came one with Eva01. I think it's a mistake not include a standbase with this figures...

I didn't want it since I have a box full of Tamashii stands, but it came bundled with it.

Eva 00 wasn't advertised as including a special stand like 01 did, and my preordered one from HLJ didn't include one.

    Sirbine Pearl Finish
After 4 years I finally pull the trigger on this mold. The pearl finish is worth the every extra penny but still not sure if I made the right decision to get this instead of regular version.
I am too afraid of paint scrapping to really fiddle with the toy.
This is also the first toy of Dunbine OVA in RS line so Banda had not figured out a way to give it proper articulation with its intricate design.

Good Smile Company will release Sirbine model WITH ITS SHIELD in 2021.
    Looking forward to that too.
