To you, perhaps that is a reality. Sit back, relax and enjoy your dinner. Everyone has to accept their limitations I guess.
I'll let you know how it goes.

I'll also echo Predators and Turbomasters. Let them not be afraid to make the cars taller like Kup/Blurr and the like, and make the Predators voyager sized. And that's before we get to the rest of them (Sandstorm, Skyquake, etc.)

After Dr. Wu unveiled his Micromaster Galvatron, Soundwave, Beachcomber and Optimus Prime I started looking at the Hasbro Micromasters. A lot of them have ugly screw holes dead center in their chests. And the articulation is limited, maybe to accommodate the third transformation into weapons?

It doesn't appear like Hasbro is going to finish the remaining squads either. So maybe a 3p could finish the remaining members of the various squads.

I totally agree with the "we are in a echo chamber asking for a niche of a niche" but that's part of why I think chasing after part of the niche and just owning it is smart business if done right. I'd stick to CHUG or maybe just a hair smaller since many of the G2 original characters were smaller

So far, other than G2 Menasor (because everyone started doing it) whenever something G2 is offered it has SOLD OUT...even the crazy Mirage redeco that never saw an official release...

The Predators have been mentioned multiple times...but I've said in the past they make a HUGE amount of sense because they all share the same engineering, just with a different shell...1 basic frame nets you not just Falcon, Snare, Talon and Skydive, but also Fearswoop, 3 of the Skyscorchers, and the many, many Cyberjet and Flipchanger jet recolors. As far as return on investments go, there's a dozen+ uses right there, and unlike many other niche characters people never seem to get enough jet troops...as long as they are different...The cars are a bit more varied, but even then there is a lot of shared engineering with quite a few of them as well. Overall it's a niche that could very easily be a low risk / high reward project.

If it were ME, I would sell them in 2 packs, battle in a box style like the Japanese Turbomasters vs Predators were.

-A CW-compatible Motormaster. At this point I couldn't even care if it was "all inclusive" or not, just make it feasably G1-accurate and actually able to function as a combiner, because CW Motormaster is anything BUT functional.

-Nautica, I have zero confidence whatsoever in Hasbro's ability to make a decent Nautica figure, let alone even consider the effort.

-G1 Skids, because it's becoming increasingly obvious there just won't be one from Hasbro, and considering ER Ironhide and Ratchet, I don't feel confident any attempt they'd make could be good.

-Velocity, because she's good as forgotten with the old IDW continuity.

-G1 Blaster, while I love my UT Soundmixer, he's unarguably very dated and from what I hear Mega Steel's Buster wasn't that great

-SG Sir Soundwave, I think at this point he's become a design all his own than just a white Soundwave, and no the Ironhide retool is not acceptable.

-G1 Mirage - because Siege came so close but still failed to deliver.

-G1 Wreck Gar - because I don't see him getting his own figure.

-IDW Earth Mode Galvatron - the EDC design, such a cool design.

-Monstructor - because the Fansproject mold is just not a safe investment, and I really can't see Hasbro making a new Monstructor unless they made an entire line revolving around Pretenders... good lord I don't want that.

-The RiD Autobot Brothers - These guys really need to make a return, especially since their original figure's molds are supposidely too worn out to use again.

    more idw original characters please.
not just the usual standbys of Nautica, Velocity, and Aileron either. i want the weirdoes like Bayonet, Centurion, Skywatch Crash Armor, Camien/Dinobot Strafe, and Stardrive in both Solstar Knight and Dire Wraith flavors.

also, with all of the upgrade kits flying around, how has nobody made an Optimus-into-Gilthor set yet?
    or some Dire Wraith upgrades

It ended without a bid. I saw 19 watchers at one point, although at least one of those was me, just to remember to check it. But that's still 18 people who decided to watch and none of them thought it was worth the starting price of $550.

Again, I don't think a single listing on ebay counts as any kind of realistic market research for this sort of thing. If you wanted to use it as a quick litmus test for actual interest, though, it doesn't look like there's much.

A Masteriece Armada line. Very few Armada designs are complicated or cheat enough to require the larger size of MP scale to accomodate complex engineering, the grand majority are so simple they could be done at the same size as the original toys, and there's no real, legitimate reason to make them MP scale/size. Would be cheaper to produce and easier to buy, everyone wins.

Reformatted Rung, Chromedome, and Rewind look lovely. There are empty spots for Nautica, Brainstorm, and Skids on my shelf waiting for MMC to fill them.

I'd take anything from Armada and anything from the movies because 3P would have better skill in removing the backpacks that is egregious and on too many of the Studio Series figures. I'd love a Lockdown with the headsculpt of the SS version but with less kibble and more accurate proportions.
