Yeah. And now that we know about Rodimus, Thunderwing doesn't seem as unlikely anymore as many people thought.

I hope sales for Rodimus are strong enough for Hasbro to finally consider doing two Commanders per year. Because there are a lot of candidates. I mean, I still haven't even bought a Commander Class myself because I am patiently waiting for ones that I absolutely want.

Neither bought a Commander Class yet, due budget reasons ( 3-4 deluxes, 2 Voyagers or one Leader class ) but if the next Commander is Thunderwing........all in partner:bowdown:

After all, according to the pages that already have wave 1 complete, it did not come with the battle mask / mutant head of Blackarachnia as shown by TonTon and other channels, since said object was taken directly from the factory and apparently it ended up being a prototype.

They now have the privilege of having that rare item, like the unreleased coins from the Cheetor and Megatron MPs.

It was established by a couple leakers a while back that that piece was included on her molding to allow a toy-accurate repaint later on in Selects or so. Whether that holds true or if we'll see it elsewhere I can't say for certain. It may be in the supposed "selects" deep cover's place, given he's supposed to be in Netflix rather than Selects (according to Catz.)

Yes! I would hope the smaller robot would be Voyager class, but even if not, I'd still be all in for a Commander class Thunderwing. My Decepticons need a Commander class bot and I love Thunderwing's dual robot Mega Pretender design.

But it's like you said; different size classes different budgets. And we always say "just do this" but we don't know if that would work. Considering how much better the cheetah looks than the Masterpiece (basically no gaps, the rear legs are just better and not clunky) it's a small caveat.

"they shouldn't consider the box ticked" is kind of a hyperbole.

At least I'm comparing Generations figures. You're comparing the look of two very different figures from two very different lines with two very different objectives.

The objectives of the Kingdom Beast Wars figures are quite clear: real-world accuracy in beast-mode, screen accuracy in bot-mode. We've seen this from Leader Class Megatron right down to Core Class Rattrap. The one with the poorest bot-mode, however, is Cheetor. The pursuit of the beast-mode meant sacrifices had to be made in bot-mode. But as someone whose figures spend the majority of their time in bot-mode (and I doubt I'm alone there), for me, the sacrifices aren't worth it. The rear legs are lazy, even when compared to his 1996 figure. The lack of a gun is shameful, as Beast Wars wrote the book on weapon integration in alt-mode.

So no, the box of an updated Season 1 Cheetor certainly isn't ticked. Hasbro can do better. We've seen them do better. We should expect them to do better.

That gap at the top of the chest looks bigger every time I see it.

i think it is light also is for allowing him to be in 2 legs so the head can move up an down thanks to that, I think in 4 legs he looks better than the mp, while the mp looks better on 2, been honest I think he is the best figure with blackarachnia, then is megatron( good beast mode and robot mode ruin only for the material and trying to do the tight guns smaller they create more back kibble, also not making the tail removable was a mistake ) , rattrap( amazing robot mode beast mode a little lacking but good for the size) and at the end cheetor that things is horrible

Good to see that Primal's Mega Muff was just mistransformation. Might have to end up picking up Primal and BW Megs of the Beast figures. Mostly gonna stick to the G1 figures though.

I wonder if any SS86 figures wwill get translanted into Kingdom or other lines, since they're supposed to compliment eachother. Or heck, if there'd be generations selects repaints like Stepper to go with the Artfire
