I can't seem to shake that Combiner Wars line yet? Just grabbed a CW Hound off Ebay just to mess about with. I still really enjoy fiddling with Combiner Wars bits especially that mould amongst others. :D
I have a storage container full of random spare Combiner Wars bots, some official, most KO, which I part swap to varying degrees of successfulness depending on what crazy custom idea I have!

Oh I still need to Toyhax sticker up my spare CW Motormaster which has been sitting in my to-do pile for a while now - another crazy custom idea! :p

BTW does anyone have a spare Classics Sideswipe/Red Alert head they want to part with? Another custom idea I have just needs that head. ;)

that's sick! It's turned out pretty much brand new.

It was just taking up space in my cupboard, so glad that it's bringing someone happiness :)

Still my favourite line, despite it's flaws, I just adapted some Construct-a-bots dino feet to use as CW feet just because I could, I have loads of real ones anyway (and he was bought minus head and with some significant breakages..),
just to cobble together yet another bitzer combiner of my seemingly endless supply of CW bots (including a charity shop 1 pound armless, headless armless Ironhide who is now my 'tester' for CW bodge endeavours.
    the hands weren't as successful.

I done bought the Dr Wu Scraplets and the OS KO bike sisters off our Scottish friend as I was naughty.....

Runabout landed today! Gotta say the mold works much better in black for me. Tabs together better in car mode too

    20201124_195752.jpg 20201124_194926.jpg

I have a fondness for car 'Cons. I think it's because most of the Decepticon ranks are filled with jets, military vehicles and giant beasts, which, while handy in a fight, don't lend themselves to the "robots in disguise" element of transforming alien robots.

Still don't get why Runabout gets 2 guns and Runamuck gets shortchanged. I would have thought the guns were gang molded? Also funny that Runamuck has the wrong gun (it's Runabout's gun design, if we're going by G1 toy)

Yeah, and the single guns are so tiny in-hand it really seems a bit churlish that Hasbro haven't given 'em both 2 guns so buyers get the choice of going 'Toon or toy gun-accurate on 'em!

You're more than welcome, mate. Really nice to see it restored to its former glory - it looks like a new toy!

We're looking to convert our garage and the wife has promised it to me as an office/mancave. I may look to do mine once it's all done and dusted and finally get what is left of my childhood figures on display.

It’s hit the nostalgia buttons for me, and really brought some happiness - thanks again man.

Keep an eye on FB groups and also, check eBay at random times of the day - picked up some bargains that way! Thanks for the steer on WFIGS :thumb

    So....

Beginning to think I've waited too long for my mate to try and get me an Earthrise Scorponok through work  .

Anyone know anywhere selling them near RRP?

I’m not sure of any re-stocks due with the usual UK etailers. Smyths do not seem to be getting any more in.

    Found this link on eBay:

Transformers War for Cybertron: Earthrise Scorponok Figure 5010993642632 | eBay

EDIT- has been removed now. Sorry. Must have glitched our. Now showing as no longer available.

Thanks @SJW and @IrnBro I'll keep my eyes peeled.

Ironic though, likely cost myself more cash trying to get a good deal :( .

Does the second Runabout gun work as a should launcher or does it bump into his hood ?

I just got Runamuck - I do like his robot mode all be that it's a bit plain looking - maybe a more orange tint to his stripes might have helped a bit or some orange plastic in the torso area - though he doesn't really hold so well in vehicle mode there is nothing tabbing him together so any pressure the roof come out of alignment - which is a bit odd. Hopefully someone will make him a shoulder launcher sometime I think that would be a nice addition to have. Still like him though - he's got that "Fun to mess with" factor that makes me cart Exhaust around a lot too.
    ----

Anyone buy a KO G1 Reflector - I was thinking about buying one - shame no one thought to make the G1 toy mould in cartoon colours though - that would have been a lovely thing to have.
    -----
I ordered the Vecma/MFT SPACE series newbies they looked so nice I couldn't resist even if they are actually bit expensive - sometimes you just have to buy what you like.

I think they will go a treat with my Chinese Supermarket Diaclone set as well as a few other pure white and grey items I can think off too..
    -----
I mentioned this on the sightings - but it might be worth a look in the "Support small business" category on ebay as they have a few bargains stuck in there with 20% off on them too. I bought a POTP Evolution Optimus £29.99 + 20% off & and a KO Scrapmetal since I could never find a real one for less than stupid money. ( I hope they make some more as I have the rest now in official form ) I need to see if anyone selling in that offer lists any other interesting KO's too - there is a new listing for shattered Glass Bumblebee Movie Optimus for £19.99 that claims it's in the Uk - but it's not in the small business category.. I'm pretty tempted though I think the mould looks badass in purple.
    ----
    Random bonus questions.
I recall seeing a Playstation 3 or PS4 joypad once that had XBox button layout did anyone ever buy one ?
I think duel format ones exist too. I just wondered what they are like as Playstation pads give me thumb aches.
