Damn!

I didn't think I'd like ER Ironhide more than WFC (into which I poured money for fillers and love in the form of extra paint).

Here we are though, instant preference... This just makes my brain very happy. WFC Ironhide is not gonna get much 'out of the box time' anymore I'm afraid (and no sass about selling him, he's still my precious boy, just less precious)

Weirdly enough I think it was the connon/booster slide gimmick on the 'shield' that did it. Go figure... Glad I went for the Paradon Medic box as well.

 

FYI the same filler sets will work with the ER Ironhide, just got some Siege Ironhide/Crosshairs sets and mixed them to get the reds in the right spots for ER Ironhide (Crosshairs set comes with red leg fillers while Ironhides has grey)

Similar to my Wheeljack, it looks like there's excess flash on Bumblebee's biceps' pegs that prevents the arms for swiveling properly. I had to jam my pair of gunpla snippers in there to trim off some of the excess plastic to free up some movement.

Other than that and some minor tabbing issues, Bumblebee's alt mode is super cute.

 

As I was putting boxes into storage, noticed that our Bumblebee came with 2 copies of his background insert / panel. Only have 2 other Netflix Deluxes and both have 1 insert. I guess the opposite problem is something to look for.

 

Seasonal update.

So of of the WFCT, I have 76 Autobots, 78 Decepticons, 10 Quintessons, and 3 Mercenaries.

 

Sunstreaker in the house. I gave him Vortex's pistol that has been idle since he chilling in his arm mode on the shelve.

I actually bought some stl files someone on the forum made for the Siege mould so I'm going to have some printed out for Ironhide, Crosshairs and Ratchet, save a little cash that way.

 

Nice, I went the preprinted route simply because I don't have a printer of my own
