Yeah, those were the two I was referring to. I didn't want to start hitting DG stores if they weren't showing up in the US yet.

 

I hit a Dollar General store on Friday and they had no MC stuff at all.   They did have all the Xmas stuff out though.

 

More of the same in this state.

 

All of my DG have moved the MC stuff to the top shelf. So kids can't even see it. Nothing new yet either.

My Ross has a ton of that set for even less. My willpower was strong enough to only buy one.
Also have a lot of current single packs.

 

I bought all the mongoose sets I found when they were $3.99 at Ross. But I never found more than on at each store. Now, I am finding theee or four per store but at $9.99.

As for the single cards, I am still buying up Brutes and the red/grey MK VIIs. I like the recons too but they seem to be hanging around everywhere.

While I am glad to see the hot wheels sets come back, they seem to be stretching with this one idea:

Ok, I admire the reuse but they couldn’t even play it off a little by making the box art look more the part? That’s about the same as an action figure with advertising that says “turn box into flight stand” with a picture of the figure on top of the box.

As stupidly simple as it is, that "castle" art with the cut-out doors actually looks 3D-ish to me haha. Like, the recessed left building really does look recessed. Maybe lack of sleep is finally getting to me. That is also a possibility.

 

I popped in another local Dollar General and found a 10th red Stinger, AC Kat, and Flame Marine.

My Stinger was missing a head! Is there anyway I could get MCX to send me a replacement?
