Who knows? I want to say they revealed it earlier this year, dont think we've seen anything else about it though.
So odd question. I'm starting to set displays for each Macross era (at least for what I collect). I'm going for 2-3 Valks for each along with their Idols. Do you think we will ever get a Sharon Apple figure? I already got the DYRL Minmay and working on getting a Sheryl Nome figure.
Sharon Apple was done in the Macross Heroines line up, not in the chunky square version. There's a wack of Sheryl Nome figures and I'll let @tekering share the spotlight as well (your eariler comment got vaporwared according to my emails as it got answered I believe). Or you can go into MacrossWorld and its under the "Macross Figures" thread.
@OmegaTaco Supreme Good Smile did a little set of the Macross girls in this style in their ”Nendoroid” line. I don’t recall seeing any others when I was looking a while back. you can occasionally find this whole set for 4k-5k yen at Mandarake.
Yeah I wish they would come out with one like a lot of the Sheryl Nome figures. SO many to choose of from her. Of course the one I want of her is one of the more expensive ones..lol
There is a Shapeways 3D print of Sharon Apple in the clunky CPU unit as well @OmegaTaco Supreme. Edited previous comment as it was answered. If your still wondering about the eventual DX YF-21, @jackisking and @OmegaTaco Supreme, the shown pre-production sample is still going under changes from the time it was shown in the Tamashii Nation's Exhibit at Akihabrara.
I've got a 3D printed one I designed on Shapeways of her Computer box, I know it's not exactly the same thing but it's scaled to size with figmas/figuarts Quin's Bin by miconway83 - Shapeways Shops
Wanted a yf19, but if I can get a 1/48 vf19, which is basically a yf19, but now it's bigger. Really interested, wanted to own a macross figure since childhood but don't wanna pay out the ass.
Then get the Hasegawa 1/48 VF-19 Model Kit like what @tekering mentioned before he deleted his post. I'm sure Fleabay has some of the model kits in stock.
Nearly all options for a YF-19/VF-19 figure are 1/60 scale, @Meister61 . Unless you want the very first release 1/72 from Yamato. They're cheap, and not very good figures. Yamato 1/72 YF-19 (few variants available) (cheap and not recommended) Yamato 1/60 YF-19 "v1" (few different variants of this) (inexpensive, but later figures were notably better) The rest of these average about $300 USD selling price, with exception to the VF-19k and VF-19P, which generally go for a bit more. Yamato 1/60 VF-19 (four variants: Emerald Force VF-19F and VF-19S; VF-19k fire valkyire, VF-19P "Zola Patrol" variant from Macross Dynamite 7) Arcadia VF-19k fire valkyire (ridiculous expensive) Arcadia 1/60 YF-19 "v2" (great figure but be ready to fix extremely loose ankle joints) Bandai DX 1/60 VF-19 advance Bandai DX 1/60 YF-19 There is also a 1/48 scale non-transforming model kit from Hasegawa, but it requires significant paint and detailing.
With a budget of under $100 euros shipped,,,,,, your options are extremely limited. Just the shipping alone right now to the UK is is not cheap. so you are stuck with either Yamato 1/72 YF-19 , or maybe a used Yamato 1/60 YF-19 "v1" but even those will probably required more money due to shipping cost. shipping alone from USA to UK is around $40 to $70 USD for USPS.
This pretty girl just showed up on my doorstep. I think it was from a ladies late husband's collection. She even included a Thank you card for the purchase. It will definitely be well taken care of in my collection.
Loosen up the three upper leg screws on each side before you do the transformation to either battriod or gerwalk @OmegaTaco Supreme !!
Thanks for the tip. I'm going to mess around with it tonight after my kids goes to sleep. I got it for my Xmas present this year to open it up with the kids Xmas day, so i need to hide it after I play around with it.
Forgive my ignorance, but I have a Kitzconcept VF-1J coming in the next few days and I don't really know much about it. Is it licensed? Or a bootleg? I only ordered it because it was so much cheaper than the Bandai and other companies' Valkyries and the 1J is my second-favourite Valk, after the 19. Well, maybe tied for second with the VF-2.
