Can confirm Westminster Aldi has Wave 2 deluxes as of 7:30pm tonight. I grabbed a couple Allicons but they still had at least 2 more and all the rest of the wave. two cardboard cases were facing registers up front.

Does that mean people are scanning a different figure to buy it? It doesn't seem like inventory numbers are going down for it on popfindr.

 

Probably. I didn't even bother trying to snag it since I had already asked about him a few days ago and got brick-walled so I figured I'd wait till December 1st. He'll probably be around heavily for a month like Leadfoot was. I'm more concerned with Thrust since I only saw the TC/SW pack 1 time at the EC store.

 

Well, if popfindr is to be believed (and they have been pretty accurate in my experience), almost every store around me in a 25 mile radius has 8 in stock. That would obviously be untrue, if people scan a different item to get one though. But. hopefully we'll all find him pretty easily.

 

Definitely. I wouldn't be as worried as deluxes ship in cases of 8 vs the bigger figs who are 2-3 per. I feel like this one'll be a little easier like Leadfoot was in general.

 

Germantown Aldi has a bunch of Earthrise Wave 2 deluxes. I was able to pick up an Allicon. I’m not sure how many Allicon’s they had left but they had plenty of his other wave mates.

 

Snagged the lone sunstreaker and trailbreaker at glen burnie north target. Left 2 FastTrack on the pegs though.

It does seem odd that only one out of the wave is street dated though.

 

Can confirm the Runabouts at EC Target, and I went and got one. Had to scan a different Siege toy to get it to ring up, they're pulling the ol' street date on it. Honestly though, if you're going to put an entire case of them on the shelves as practically the only toy in that size class, have them all labeled for sale, and ONLY announce street date at the final point of sale, I'm pretty sure you should just sell that fucker.

Seriously, if you don't want customers breaking street date, don't put stuff on the shelves. Especially with no indication there IS a street date. At that point it feels like a bait and switch.

If it scans differently than a standard figure I would assume it has a different dpci.
