I would open it up because I would want to fiddle with it and put it in crazy poses...

This isn’t 6 inch scale right?

No these are 3.75 or 4” figures. Not really my cup of tea but anything this well made is my cup of tea.

I bought a few VH figures because I love ancient history, Greek stuff etc. I wouldn’t recommend those figures. They are just okay, too soft and loose joints. These are not, these are the best 3.75 figures I’ve handled.

Not to get too far off topic, but I have a couple of the Series 2 VH (orcs/elves/knights/etc), and I really like them. Luckily the joints on mine are nice and stiff, but I see what you mean about the feel of the plastic in hand. It's not soft in my opinion, but other plastic toys seem to have a density and solidity to the touch that VH figs (and Acid Rain) don't. They don't feel cheap in any way, just different.

Regardless, thanks for the recommendations. I'm really liking the look of that Shadow Spidrax.

Thanks! They do look good and tbh I enjoyed the comics but I’m trying to focus...if these were 6 inch scale, I’ll be all over them! :)

Feel the same. I wish they were bigger but they’re bugs!

I recommend Zak as a starter figure. Just a pretty generic design but awesome.

I’m one of those annoying fans on the fence with this line. If I knew there was a possibility for a Hive play set or bug mounts...I’m 10000% in. But without one of those two options I’m just kinda....meh.

There will be bugs if Wave 2 gets funded, probably.

He posted a link to a sort of Hyve you can order in a couple of colors back in July.

Me too. I am going to hit Wave 2 as hard as I can... Fingers-crossed it’s a pretty steep price bump.

Wish you guys the best with this. I am sure it will fund. I ordered out of the first kickstarter but with inflation in pricing and my own attempt to steer away from 3.75 and stick to 6inch I am passing on these.

Thanks these are the only 3.75 I’ll buy. Love these releases.

Wave 2 looks awesome. I started ordering some of wave 1. Just really hoping for a cool hive play set. I’d rather pay 100-150 for an awesome play set if it’s an option.

I personally would like to see the unproduced figures from the second wave that never made it to mass production from 1986, like night fighting spidrax, stellara, bodyball, knuckles and bandor IMHO

Backed and I get the price increase as these appear to have more unique tooling per figure but I’d like to see some troopers based on the Waspax body (at least) - especially if it might help bring the price down a little.
