After putting together my Scabbard custom I felt like the Generations Roadbuster would make a solid Megatron...so here ya go! I tried to stick with a G1 take on Mega for this one. Alt mode later!
Absolutely Excellent!!!! I didn't think Thrilling 30 Roadbuster of all figures could make a good Megatron, but I was quite shocked with this custom. Good Job!
So my vote on Twitter came a bit late But I'm happy to see him with black legs Yea, this mold works pretty well as a Megatron and came out great as I can see It's just unfortunate that there's no 5 mm port on his forearms and no good spot to add one. Maybe rerepaint him neon-green with neon-purple camouflage and just put the cannon on his right shoulder The expression on his face looks so gentle and kind. The way he smirks... Was this originally a head for a Huffer or someone else?
Yeah I had to drill a 5mm hole in his forearm and a smaller one in the gun to accommodate the forearm tab. This head is actually a Windcharger one I found. After using the head and same base figure to make Scabbard, it kicked off the want to do a Megatron.
Uh, just now I that he's not holding the cannon in his hand but his forearm. But what I meant is a 5 mm port in the outer side of his forearm. And Windcharger's head looks like a juvenile naiv and kind Megatron. But on Scabbard he looks a little bit grimmer. I guess it's the colors, angle and lighting/shadow.
Cool! This would go perfect with triple changer Rodimus (the springer retool) as the Lost Light captains.
Looks really good in both modes and with those backdrops. I’d like to see an Optimus reinvention to go with him. Maybe a bullet train or a construction vehicle? A red tractor perhaps?
Looks amazing, I would like to ask which Windcharger this head comes from specifically? I wanna use it for my SG Megatron (using the TR Mold)
Just looked him up as well as (I think) every other official Windcharger release. None of them fit. @Spudmunkey
