true about the prime thing but there's still questions well some because i know how the maximales and predacons are from the future and the autobots were dead..right? so they wouldn't know they were there but if they took primes matrix did they put it back in him? but we need to ask hasbro about that and everything would be in a loop .the autobot's wake up fight for 3 seasons, the maximales are made who knows when , they go back in time and create the beast wars then millions of years later the loop happens again

You're not gonna get a Grimlock repaint from BW Megatron but Hasbro is likely to uh...spare no expense on a Megatron repaint, so to speak.

Why would they make Grimlock a repaint of Megatron when they have Beast wars Dinobot to repaint into a toy accurate Grimlock. Are you saying that you know this is true.

Oh I see I came in at the tail end of a conversation about G1 characters as Beast wars characters okay

 

People share names. Heck, in continuity BW Megs took the G1 character's name as tribute when he decided to go on the mission that turned in to the Beast Wars.

It's like if someone named you "Steve" after your Grandpa, or if you named a kid "John" after your favorite President. I like the idea that there can be multiple cybertronians with the same name.

The Maximals/Predacons would absolutely know the key players in "the Great War." And as far as Prime's spark goes, Primal gave it back at the end of BW S3.

But that doesn't matter, because Kingdom is taking place in a different continuity where the G1 guys are not only awake, but also the same size as the BW cast.

 

This conversation is farking stupid. One toy came out this year and is no longer on shelves, the other is coming out next year. They're also two vastly different price points. And both characters already have the name in fiction, and those were years apart.

So, just saw the box-art for SS86 Gnaw and Hasbro have got me again.

The new mold looks great, blows the old one out of the water (pun intended).
Better sculpt, deco, articulation.

I also just saw the instructions for Kingdom Rodimus and whooo-eee does he have a lot going on!

• Flame exhaust effects that can attach to his car or trailer exhaust pipes.
• Sweet looking sword.
• Extremely long rifle. (Blast effects compatible)
• Blast effects for twin trailer cannons that can be used as additional rocket tailpipe effects.
• Matrix blast effect to light our darkest hour.
• Trailer has a ramp, looks like you can remove gun tower and put a legend/micromaster car in there.
• Trailer has a tray you can remove that store blast effects etc.

Hot dang he's got play value that's through the roof!
