Nice! if you don't mind me asking when was yours delivered? I ordered mine as soon as it dropped but it's still not here yet

 

I got mine on the 29th of Oct. But it was weird, I ordered them as soon as they dropped (didn't want to run the risk of it selling out like ER Scorponok), but I also received another order which I placed a week BEFORE Sky Lynx's on the 29th as well. Shipping is all over the place.....

 

So I just picked up a sky lynx. I have a qc issue and am wondering if it's common: one of the blue wing parts that slides in underneath the wings is extremely loose. In shuttle mode, if I tip the shuttle to one side, the lower blue wing slides right out.

Anyone else have this?

 

Unfortunately, it's quite common. But easily fixed with some Future floor polish or a dab of superglue.

 

I went with the 'Future Floor Polish' route. 3 applications approximately 24 hours apart on ALL the wing joints.

 

Thank you for your replies. I don't love doing future polish, but I've got some and could definitely do it. Figures not working properly is my biggest pet peeve, but the figure is so ridiculous in a good way I think it's worth it to take care of an issue Hasbro wasn't able to handle.

 

I can't think of a single Hasbro product in the last 5 years that I have not used floor polish on.

He's a hell of a lot of fun.

Now I just need to see some hypothetical MEGA LAUNCH PLATFORM modes with Ironworks and Airwave in anticipation of the Botropolis set...

 

I'm having a lot of fun with the Lynx mode.

This is the most expensive TF purchase I've ever made (except if you count the total cost of SS Devastator) and he:s well worth the price.

EDIT TO ADD: If you're using Ironworks for this one, his tow hook makes a neat "control panel" for the platform, just pop it onto the post from the roof-arm linkage.

 

Thanks. I'm thinking of adding the astro squad, Astrotrain and a Lego Saturn V for an even crazier setup.

 

After transforming to bird and lynx modes I noticed on the lynx the back right foot/ankle (the part that goes up and down) wasn't ratcheting like the other legs so took both back legs apart to see what was going on, Turns out there was a ratchet missing on the right side.
I'm guessing thats why some of those parts move smoothly and dont ratchet like others do, Anyone else have the same or similar issue?

 

Aside from some loose joints on the Sky component on my copy, this really is the perfect Sky Lynx figure. Gotta make sure not to leave any Matrixes where he can reach them though.
