Yeah MP1/4's articulation was terrible. It was just a huge chunk of die-cast. Still, nice to have to show the progression of the masterpiece line.

Hound: We’re on the right track, but he’s still far away.
Spike: It’s a good thing Optimus didn’t have a rocket ship. He wasn’t kidding about going into exile. There’s nothing out here.


Bumblebee: I just hope when we find Prime, we can talk him out of it.










Spike: Optimus!
Bumblebee: Thank Primus we found you.
Hound: I told you we were on the right track. And Bluestreak was worried about glitch mice.


Prime: Hound, Bumblebee, Spike, what are you doing out here?
Hound: We’re here to bring you back to where you belong Prime.


Bumblebee: You gotta come back Prime. Since that Bernard's been in charge, the Dinobots have deserted us and morale is low. Nobody wants to follow this guy, and he’s planning a full stage assault on the Decepticons. It’ll be a disaster.


Prime: Believe me Bumblebee, all of your concerns weigh heavily on me.


Prime: But I cannot disobey the by-laws set forth by the Alliance. I must remain in exile. Even by you being here is a direct violation of that rule. I’m sorry, but I cannot return.


Spike: I don’t believe this Optimus. You’re willing to let this guy destroy the Autobots over some code that was drafted who knows how long ago?
Prime: Spike, you don’t understand…
Spike: The only thing I understand is that Earth is a lot better that the Autobots are here. We've benefited in ways that wouldn’t be possible if not for your compassion and thoughtfulness towards us humans. My life has become a lot better being your friend and ally. The Autobots mean a lot to me. More than I can ever express with words. And that includes you Optimus.


Spike: You once said that even the wisest of man and machine can be in error. What makes you think this Alliance decision is the wisest choice?


Prime: Thank you Spike. Your words have brought me to my senses and helped me narrowly avoid a drastic mistake. I’ve been so blinded by my honor bound philosophies, that I didn’t fully realize the damaging conflicts that it would have on my friends and the inhabitants of Earth. Had I stayed out here, the Autobots would be truly lost, and once I hear of that news, that would surely be something that I couldn’t bear.


Prime: Megatron will have no doubt heard about my absence. We need to get back to headquarters before he goes on the attack.
Hound: Glad to have you back Prime.
Bumblebee: Yeah! I feel better already.

Not sure now but in May I got my MP-44 off Amazon Japan for $375

 

Atlantis, Arise!

 

I bought a lightbox. I’m new to this, and I’ve shown several close friends, and they’ve all said these “look AMAZING!” but I’m just not seeing it. They just look rather mundane to me. I’m NOT looking for compliments. I’ve had tons of pics in the past that people have loved. So please. Please. Please. Give me constructive criticism. I’m really really quite sensitive about trying my hand at this.

I’m definitely going with the red backdrop. It’s the best I have I feel.

 

That's correct for the first image Hound and Slag are playing football (along with the other Dinobots and assorted Autobots).

Pretty cool! Great start I love the blue background as well as the red! Actually they're all pretty cool it's great to have options. I've never been closer to buying a "Golden Lagoon" mp10  

 

White background is the best imho.

Look at all the popular figure reviewers on YouTube. Most of them use white.

The figures themselves have so much color , it can clash or blend like the 2nd pic.

Looks good tho, just my opinion.

 

You could use a lightsource above your light box. It makes the shadows at the feet lessen and it's the natural position for lighting (think sunlight).

 

I noticed that! Alas my lights are all grounded. I’d need to finagle some roofed light much like a sun to remove the shadows. Or I’ll try to reposition my light box without a ceiling.
