I feel like the proportions are standard, in that this overly cartoonish brute shape is FT’s go-to for Decepticons. Tarn and Megatron both feel overly brutish, and the Fallen already looks generic as it is. This just feels uninspired and goofy, rather than unique. Hulking brutes are a dime-a-dozen in Transformers.

 

I already imagine this Lego Maverick, putting his pieces together with each purchased figure, as well as Transmutate and Maccadam.

 

They should have lengthened the legs and then he would look dope.

 

I think I came to the conclusion what is bothering me the most about the Fallen:
Given the high asking price for these toys and that Tarn had already one con exclusive release and 1 (2) reissue(s) (not sure how many reissues he had) this should have payed for the mold already. No need to copy it to produce a halfhearted version of another character.

What allures me to the Kuro Kara Kuri line is the promise that for the high price they don’t need to make any compromises. This feels like a compromised design. Give me an all new mold for the Fallen. I will buy it without a second thought.

 

I think if they extended the legs and made brand new forearms(and hands) for him, he'd look way better

I'm not opposed to Fallen being a remold, but it needs to be more extensive then what is the case here. As is he really does just look like he is Tarn possessed by the Fallen. I do really like those changes though.

 

Is it me does this look weird his arms are long his hands almost touch his knees he looks deformed but still looks great

 

The Fallen being a Tarn remold gave me an interesting head-canon idea.
Tarn is built to be the perfect Decepticon (A concept taken from the Perfect Decepticon soldiers in Cyberverse) and he was built as such to be the new host body for The Fallen. Once possessed; Tarn would change to look like this figure, hence the included masks.

Unlike the pre-order bonus on Megatron, I have to find a way to get this one. A fiery chainsword. Oh my.

 

Since, the Fallen is a remold of Tarn, the price should be at least $50 cheaper. I do happen to like this design. Depends on the artist, but he always looked stocky to me, so the proportions of this figure work. You can see in this concept art, he is a chunky monkey.

Man, I want Hasbro to make a Fallen from this design.

 

I like this enough. I am a little concerned that I currently have $1200 of pre-orders with Flame Toys (Black Star Saber, Megatron and Victory Leo) without any of them being released. Star Saber is supposed to be coming this month though.

 

I love the character so I was looking for good interpretation, which I think this one does a good job. The thing is, its clearly a Tarn remold and this one is going to be sharing the space right next to my Tarn figure, and its going look redundant (first world problems I guess...)

Hm good point. While I do wish it was a little more accurate It's not a terrible looking figure and I guess Isn't too far off from the source material. I do wish the waist, chest and head were bigger though and if the calves were longer. I think that would make the figure look a lot better.
