But the fact is Core Rattrap is too small to scale correctly. A small Deluxe would have scaled perfectly.

If Hasbro are holding off doing TITs until 2022 if sales are good, perhaps they could do a new Rattrap alongside them.

 

I think they could have gone adding more articulation to the beast mode for example the bombs the previous deluxe has some effects for the blaster, and other accessories he use during season 1

 

For an OG BW like scale yes, a Deluxe would have been better but if Netflix Kingdom Rattrap or IDW BW 2020 Rattrap is core class sized, all can be forgiven

 

No they weren't eye to eye in the show. Optimus's head came to shortly below Megaron's chest in their season 1 bodies, but Rattrap is the main one that doesn't scale properly, as he should be roughly the same height as Blackarachnia.

 

Forgiven? No, not when they've gone to the effort of making Primal a short Voyager, like in the show, Tigatron a Voyager, like in the show, and Megatron a Leader, like in the show.

Scale has been an important focus in the WFC Trilogy as a whole, and the show scale has been important in the creation of each Beast Wars character except Rattrap. It's an incredible shame, but one that can be rectified.

 

I'm not a big beast wars fan as I actually had moved on from the franchise when it was out originally but I'll support the line and I'm delighted for beast wars fans as these look great.

I wholeheartedly agree. Though I wish there was less repackaging of Earthrise toys. What is with the Arcee and Prime in a Kingdom box? Just for that card? O well. They could have easily squeezed out an obscure repaint of a BW figure instead of tossing us another Arcee. Also, Prime is still overpriced for what you get. I got the figure because it looks awesome yet I don't need to see it again on shelves.

I too moved on from Transformers at the time. But I still watched the animation for BW at least the first season. So I am familiar with the characters up till the stuff with those weird creatures like Silverbolt. I will get myself a Blackarachnia and a Rattrap for sure. The Cheetor, maybe? He looks a little off to me. Then it is just how much cash I am willing to spend getting a Primal. Or I'll just go get the PotP Primal, I still know places to get it. That figure will look great with these BW figures.
